1/4 c Crumbled mild gorganzola Cheese 1/2 c Butter 3 tb Grated parmesan cheese 1/4 c Whipping cream, warm Pepper Prepare gnocchi according to gnocchi recipe. Bring a pan of saltd water to a boil and warm a bowl. Put gorgazola into bowl with butter and a pinch of pepper and blend until creamy with a wooden spoon. Stir in parmesan and heated cream. Keep warm. Add gnocchi carefully to boiling water. Stir and cook briskly. When they come to surface, remove with a slotted spoon and transfer to bowl with the sauce. Stir well to coat with sauce and serve immediately.

Gnocchi al pomodoro gratinati con Gorgonzola DOP e basilico
INGREDIENTI PER 4 PERSONE 800 gr di gnocchi di patate 500 gr di passata di pomodoro 250 gr di Gorgonzola DOP 1 spicchio d’aglio Olio evo 1 cucchiaino di zucchero Sale Pepe nero Basilico fresco
In una casseruola larga scaldate due cucchiai di olio evo con uno spicchio d’aglio. Versate la passata di pomodoro, fate insaporire e poi aggiustate di zucchero, sale e pepe. Aggiungete il basilico tagliato con le mani e lasciate cuocere a fuoco dolce per 10 minuti. Fate cuocere gli gnocchi in abbondante acqua salata. Una volta risaliti in superficie scolateli direttamente nella casseruola con il sugo di pomodoro. Mescolate bene e versate gli gnocchi in una capiente teglia da forno. Alternate gli gnocchi con dei fiocchi di Gorgonzola DOP e delle foglie di basilico. Guarnite con un filo d’olio e lasciate cuocere in forno preriscaldato a 250° per 10 minuti. Servite subito.
