How To make Gingered Shrimp Appetizer
2 tb Teriyaki sauce
1 1/2 ts Chopped pared ginger root
2 tb Rice vinegar
1 ts Dry sherry
1/2 ts Granulated sugar
1 ds Salt
8 oz Shelled, deveined cooked
-large shrimp 1/2 md Cucumber, pared, cut into
-sticks In small flameproof container or metal measuring cup bring teriyaki sauce to a boil. Reduce heat to low, add ginger, and let simmer until liquid is slightly reduced, about 3 minutes. Add vinegar, sherry, sugar, and salt and stir to combine; let simmer 3 minutes. In glass or stainless -steel container large enough to hold shrimp in single layer arrange shrimp,; pour in teriyaki mixture aand toss to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Use slotted spoon to remove shrimp to serving plate. Pour marinade into small bowl and serve as dipping sauce with shrimp and cucumber. 1 TBS of sweet hot chili paste, 1 tsp of minced ginger, 1 tsp of minced garlic, 1 TBS of brown sugar, 1 tsp of sesame oil, 2 tsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of siracha hot chili and sprinkle some sishimi powder.

Ingredients:-
1 tbsp. Oil
¼ cup Salted butter
25 medium sized raw Prawns, peeled with tail on
⅛ cup Garlic cloves, crushed
⅛ cup Green garlic, chopped
Salt, as required
Freshly ground black pepper, as required
Chilli flakes, as required
⅛ cup parsley, chopped
2 tbsp. Lemon juice
½ tsp. Corn starch
2-3 tbsp. Water
Method:-
- Heat oil in a pan and add prawns to it.
- Toss this well and add salt. Keep the flame on high.
- Add garlic, butter, parsley and toss again.
- Add water, chilli flakes, black pepper, corn flour slurry, lemon juice and mix well.
Delicious Butter Garlic Prawns are ready to eat.

Ingredients for Butter Garlic Prawns:
(Tsp- Teaspoon; Tbsp- Tablespoon )
Jumbo Prawns/Shrimp - 350 gms nett weight (after shelling and deveining)
For Marination:
- Salt-1/2 tsp
- Crushed pepper- 1/2 tsp
- Paprika- 1/2 tsp
Other Ingredients:
- Oil- 1 tbsp
- Butter- 2 tbsp+ 2 tbsp (around 50 gms)
- Chopped Garlic- 4 tsp
- Red Chilli flakes- 1.5 tsp
- Chopped Parsley- 2 tbsp + 1 tbsp for garnish
- Lemon Juice- 2 tsp
Preparation:
- Clean and devein the prawns. Marinate and set aside for 15-20 mins.
- Peel and fine chop the garlic and the parsley.
Process:
- Take a pan and heat a mix of 1 tbsp oil & 2 tbsp of butter
- Place the marinated prawns side by side and let it sear on one side for 1 min on medium heat till pinkish in colour.
- Turn it on the other side and continue to sear on medium heat for another 1 min.
- Push the prawns to a side and add the chopped garlic in the middle of the pan.
- Fry on medium heat for around 1 min and then mix it with the prawns and continue sautéing so that the garlic is lightly fried and the flavour is absorbed in the prawns.
- Now add red chilli flakes, lemon juice fine chopped parsley and 1 tbsp of butter.
- Give a mix and sauté on medium heat for another 1 min.
- Finish off with a garnish of fine chopped parsley.
- Serve hot.

Coconut Shrimp Recipe - Crispy Fried Appetizer with Lemon Ginger Dipping Sauce
Ingredients:
1/2 pound (26/31) shrimp cleaned and dry
Oil for cooking
Sauce:
1 tablespoon coarsely chopped ginger
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons plum sauce
1/8 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon corn starch (mixed well)
2 tablespoons cold water
Bowl #1 Egg wash:
2 eggs mixed
2 tablespoons milk
Bowl #2 Dry mixture:
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
Bowl #3 3/4 cups Panko bread crumbs and 3/4 cups sweetened coconut
Preparation:
1. Combine ingredients for sauce except water and corn starch. Bring to a boil and set aside on simmer
2. Mix shrimp in bowl #1, then bowl #2, then back into bowl #1.
3. Coat shrimp on each side ONE AT A TIME in bowl #3.
4. Placed onto wax paper
5. Deep fry in 375 degree oil until golden brown
6. Bring sauce to a boil
7. Add corn starch and water and stir to thicken
8. Pour sauce into ramekin and serve.
