How To make German Fest Pizza
6 To 8Oz Spicy Fresh Bratwurst (See Note)
1 Prepared 12-Inch Thin-Style Pizza Crust
2/3 Cup Prepared Pizza Sauce
3/4 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Salt
1/2 Cup Sauerkraut, Preferably A Sweet German-
Style 4 Ounces Shredded Swiss Cheese (About 1 Cup)
4 Ounces Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (About 1 Cup)
1/3 Cup Canned Sliced Mushrooms
1/3 Cup Chopped Green Peppers
1/3 Cup Chopped Onion
1/3 Cup Sliced Black Olives
Remove casings from bratwurst. Cook in skillet over medium-high heat, breaking up meat as needed, until cooked through and crumbly.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Spread pizza crust with prepared pizza sauce. Sprinkle with oregano and garlic salt. Distribute sauerkraut evenly over crust. Mix cheese together and distribute evenly over pizza. Arrange bratwurst over crust and top with mushrooms, green peppers, onions and olives.
Bake in preheated oven 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted and crust is lightly browned around edges. Cut into wedges. Makes 8 slices.

An Oktoberfest Pizza on a Pretzel Crust
Oktoberfest is a 16- or 17-day beer festival in Munich, Germany and its festivities have spread around the globe as a great celebration of German and Bavarian beer, food, and culture. While the official Oktoberfest is not taking place this year, we still need to celebrate in spirit. So, let's make an Oktoberfest-themed pizza with bratwurst and sauerkraut on top of a pretzel crust.

Dough recipe/tutorial:
Ingredients:
-9oz dough ball for an 11” pizza
-extra virgin olive oil
-brown mustard
-shredded whole milk mozzarella
-shredded Swiss or Jarlsberg cheese
-sliced bratwurst
-sauerkrau
t
-water and baking soda mixture
-egg wash
-coarse kosher salt
Cook a New York-style version at 550° for 7-8 minutes. Pull it out half way to apply the egg wash and salt.

Making a stuffed crust is so much easier than you thought. Your world is your oyster when it comes to the toppings. You can add absolutely anything you fancy!

Homemade Deep Pan Meat Feast Pizza With Stuffed Crust
INGREDIENTS:
My homemade pizza base - recipe here:
My homemade pizza sauce - recipe here:
300 g cheddar cheese
5 g Thai basil
2 garlic cloves
30 g of my homemade butter - recipe here:
50 g roasted red peppers
50 g pickled red tomatoes
50 g green olives
50 g mushrooms
150 g salami varieties : chorizo, pepperoni, German salami..
50 g sweetcorn
40 g jalapeno slices
Sprinkle of salt
DIRECTIONS:
After you've prepared the pizza base and sauce, before baking, prepare the toppings and crust.
Cut half of the cheese into strips, to use for the stuffed crust. After you've placed the pizza base on a baking tray, add the cheese strips to the edges. Stretch the edges over the tray, then add the cheese strips along the edge. Grab the strips one by one and place a bit of basil before adding the strips on the edge. Fold over the cheese, the stretched part of the base,
as tight as you can. Take the room temperature butter and mix it with the minced garlic and brush over the sealed crust.
Add on the pizza sauce a sprinkle of salt and some of the grated cheese.
Top the pizza with all the toppings: peppers, pickled tomatoes, olives, mushrooms, salami, sweetcorn, jalapeno slices and the remaining grated cheese.
The world is your oyster on tis one, so you can use absolutely any toppings you want.
Bake at 180 degrees C for 20 minutes or until the pizza base has a golden brown colour.
