Applesauce Bread Recipe | Super Easy Quick Bread Recipe
This Applesauce Bread is so yummy. It will make your house smell like Fall.
Applesauce Bread Recipe
1/2 C Sugar
1/2 C Brown Sugar
1 C Applesauce
2 Eggs
1/3 C Yogurt, Plain
1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 C. Oil or butter, melted
2 C Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
Preheat oven to 350°.
Combine the sugar, brown sugar, applesauce, eggs, yogurt, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and oil. Once combined add in the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix until just combined. Grease a loaf pan and pour the batter in your pan.
Optional: Sprinkle the top with coarse sugar.
Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

1 cup Amish Friendship Bread starter -
3 eggs
1 cup raw sugar
1 cup butter, softened -
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup apple sauce
1 teaspoon vanilla -
1 teaspoon blueberry vodka -
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup vodka blueberries (or regular blueberries)

Better Than Grandma’s Fruitcake
1 1/2 sticks butter, room temperature
1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
5 eggs, slightly beaten
1/3 cup applesauce
1 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon each of cloves, mace, cinnamon, and allspice
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons orange extract
1 1/2 cups dates, chopped
1 1/2 cups dark raisins
1 cup candied cherries, chopped
1 cup dried pineapple, chopped
2 cups walnut pieces
2 cups pecan pieces
Preheat oven to 275°. Place a pan of hot water on bottom rack of oven.
Spray well a Bundt pan or 10” tube pan.
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and applesauce.
Add sifted flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
Add both extracts.
Fold in fruit and nuts.
Bake approximately two hours and fifteen minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
Allow cake to cool on the counter fifteen minutes then remove from pan. Cool thoroughly, wrap, then store in refrigerator.
NOTE: Cake slices beautifully after it’s refrigerated.

Recipe inspired by Original Recipe from the Neely's
Ingredients I used:
2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 cups brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 cups applesauce
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes
