ground or grate 1/2 ts Vanilla 2 c All purpose flour -- sifted 3 tb Sugar 1/2 ts Salt 1 t Cinnamon Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs and apples. Sift dry ingredients together. Mix with sugar mixture; add pecans. Stir in buttermilk and vanilla. Pour into greased 10x6x3 inch loaf pan. Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over top. Bake for 1 hour at 350~.

INGREDIENTS: 2 cups whole wheat flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional) 2 large eggs 1/3 cup honey 4 tablespoons coconut oil 130 gram, 5 Oz (1/2 cup) greek yogurt 2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 2 medium apples 1/2 cup chopped pecans
INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Grate the apples. Chop the pecans; set aside. 2. Preheat the oven to 340°F (170°C), and grease with oil a 9 inch loaf pan. 3. In a small bowl, combine whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and kosher salt. Mix and set aside. 4. In a large bowl, add 2 eggs and whisk. Add honey, coconut oil, greek yogurt and pure vanilla extract. Whisk. 5. Add the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. 6. Add the grated apples and the chopped pecans to the batter. Mix gently. 7. Pour the batter on the loaf pan. 8. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a tester inserted into the center comes out clean. 9. Let it cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes. Slice and serve. Enjoy :)

Ingredients For the cake: 1 cup (130g) all-purpose flour 1/2 cup sugar powder 1/4 cup yoghurt 1/4 cup milk 1/8 teaspoon baking soda 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 Teaspoon baking powder 1/4 cup butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or paste 1 Teaspoon honey 2 apples peeled and chopped 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 Tablespoon cinnamon powder For the glaze: 1/2 cup (150g) powdered sugar 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions For the cake: Preheat the oven to 350ºF / 180ºC. Line a 3x8-inch (20x7cm) loaf cake pan. Add a strip of parchment paper in the bottom and up the two narrow sides (for easier unmolding). Have the apples grated or chopped. add into brown sugar and cinnamon mix in a large bowl It will begin to release liquid, that is fine. In a large bowl mix flours, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt (sift it to avoid little lumps) set aside. Mix all wet ingredients in a large bowl and add in the dry ingredients fold gently until you have a smooth mixture. Spoon half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spoon half the apples mix on it. Spoon remaining batter & top with remaining apples mix. Bake for 50 minutes to 170° C, or until a toothpick comes out dry. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
Keep well wrapped for no more than 1 day at room temperature and in the fridge a few more days. It can be frozen, well wrapped in film and aluminum foil, before glazing. For the glaze: Mix both ingredients until you have a creamy mixture. If it’s too dry add more milk, a teaspoon at a time. You can make it as thick or thin as you want to, adding more or less liquid (juice). Glaze the cold cake and let it drip down the sides
The glaze here is one of my favorites because it's super versatile - you can use any liquid, even olive oil - easy and fast. It is a must in my opinion, with that extra sweet sensation that makes you want to eat the crunchy glazed top and leave the rest of the cake behind.

How to make apple bread. RECIPE (Can be cut in half): 6 cups flour 2 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. salt 3 tsp. (1 T.) ground cinnamon 2 cups vegetable oil 6 eggs 2-1/2 cups sugar (3 cups for sweet bread) 6- 7 cups diced apples, any variety Bake in a 350 degree oven, (Fahrenheit) for 35 to 45 minutes until top of bread is golden brown or when toothpick comes out clean.
Streusel Topping:
1cup flour 1/2 cup cold butter 1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Combine and cut ingredients in a bowl with a pastry knife or fork until clumpy.
