French Goat's Cheese Salad

From time to time, I like to dedicate a week of recipes to a theme. And this week, it’s French Bistro Week!!
So today’s Goat’s Cheese Salad is part of a classic 3 course French bistro menu. I’m particularly excited about the main dish I’ll be sharing on Wednesday. It’s one of the greatest, most iconic French dishes of all time!

This Warm Goat's Cheese Salad is a classic starter found in bistros all across France. Called Salade de Chêvre Chaud, it stars goat's cheese medallions that are golden on the outside and oozing on the inside, sitting on a bed of lettuce and tomato littered with bacon, walnuts and pine nuts, drizzled with balsamic dressing.

Garlic And Scallions Cheese Bread Pull Apart
How to make the yummy Garlic and Scallions Cheese Bread Pull Apart.
Here's what you'll need:
DOUGH:
1 cup milk (250ml) (room temp)
1 egg
2&¼ tsp instant yeast
¼ cup sugar (50g)
3 ¼ cups all purpose flour (406g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
¼ cup unsalted butter (50g)
GARLIC BUTTER SCALLIONS SPREAD
1/2 cup softened butter
2 tbsp chopped garlic
3 tbsp scallions
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
EGGWASH: 1egg+2 tbsp milk
Please note:
1. If baking this with conventional oven, please bake at 180°C(350°F) for 25 minutes. But if baking this with convection oven, please bake at 180°C(350°F) for 20-22 minutes.
2. if using active dry yeast, it requires a lukewarm milk to bloom with until foamy or at least 10 minutes.
