How To make French Meatballs
1 lb Lean Hamburg
1/4 lb Sausage meat
1 ea Onion
1 t Parsley
1 c Dry bread soaked in the milk
1 ea Egg
1/4 c Milk
Combine meats, onions and parsley. Add bread, egg, salt & pepper. Chill. Form into small balls and roll in flour. Brown on all sides in fry pan. ~----Sauce: 2 tblsp. butter, 2 tblsp. flour, 2 cups consomme, parsley,tyme and bay leaf. Melt butter, stir in flour and then add consomme and seasonings. Stir till thickens and add meatballs, simmer for 20 min.

INGREDIENTS WITH GRAM AMOUNTS
For the caramelized onions
2 tablespoons (28g) olive oil
2 large yellow onions - sliced thinly from root to stem
3 ounces (90g) water
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons (28g) butter
For the meatballs
1 1/2 pounds (680g) ground chuck
1/4 cup (60g) milk
3/4 cup (90g) Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
5 cloves garlic paste
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
1 teaspoon (6g) salt
1 teaspoon (2g) black pepper
2 large eggs
olive oil for frying
Finishing the dish
4 cloves garlic minced
1 1/2 tablespoons (12g) flour
1/2 cup (120g) dry red wine
2 cups (480g) low-sodium chicken stock
1 teaspoon thyme leaves
1 tablespoon (15g) brandy or sherry optional
2 cups (230g) Swiss cheese - sliced or shredded, divided
salt and pepper - to taste
12 slices baguette - toasted with or without cheese

HOW TO MAKE MEATBALLS | EASY SOFT AND DELICIOUS MEATBALLS | ITALIAN MEATBALLS
My family's favorite meatball recipe is what I'm sharing today, simple yet delicious.
Easy Soft And Delicious Meatballs
40g leftover bread or fresh bread
Sauce
1/2 of a medium onion
400g tomato purée
1/2 tsp Black pepper
Salt
3 tbsp of olive oil
Mince Mixture
400g ground beef
1 tbsp parsley
1 tbsp Parmesan cheese
1 medium clove of minced garlic
1 tsp black pepper
Salt
1 whole egg
To Add To The sauce
1 cup of water
1/2 cube of beef or chicken stock
METHOD
-Soak the bread in water for 5 minutes
-In the meantime heat the olive oil on medium-low
-Fry the onion on medium for 3 minutes
-Add the tomato,black pepper,salt, cook for 10 minutes
-Squeeze out water from the bread, add to the mince,1 tbsp parsley,1 tbsp Parmesan cheese, minced garlic ,black pepper,salt and the egg, mix thoroughly, make small meatballs
-Add the meatballs to the sauce,water and the stock,cover and cook for 30 minutes
-10 minutes into the cooking time, gently turn them, cover and cook for the remaining time, stir every now and then
-They are ready, serve with pasta or with bread
-Enjoy

French Onion Meatballs| 30 Minute Dinners| RestlessChipotle
This French onion meatball recipe is perfect for busy back-to-school chaos. It has almost no prep time and it's on the table in just 30 minutes. I'll tell you how to make 4 of these delicious dinners in less than 5 minutes and have them on hand in the freezer.

Ingredients
18 ounces frozen meatballs
8 ounces frozen diced onions
10.75 ounces condensed French onion soup don't dilute
8 ounces Swiss cheese slices
Instructions
Thaw overnight in the refrigerator if you’ve made it ahead of time. This saves time but is not totally necessary. It may take your dish a bit longer to cook from frozen though.
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Grease a 2-quart casserole dish or iron skillet.
Pour the soup over the meatballs and onions, or dump the contents of the freezer bag into the casserole dish.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Uncover and lay the Swiss cheese over the meatballs.
Return to the oven until the cheese is melted.
Serve as desired.
