4 or more Cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese
2 or more Cups Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 Stick of Butter
1/5-2 Cups of Milk
Salt and Pepper to taste
Italian Seasoning to taste (Optional)

Easy Homemade Macaroni and Cheese Recipe

This is another thing I did not make because I thought it was to hard to make until this recipe. I mean it is so good and easy this could be a problem.
I LOVE Macaroni and Cheese and the ease of making this means I could have it anytime I wanted. I see more walking in my future.
Easy Homemade Macaroni and Cheese
2 cups milk
1 cup cottage cheese
1 teaspoon dry mustard
Pinch cayenne
Pinch freshly grated nutmeg
Pinch sea salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 pound sharp or extra-sharp cheddar cheese, grated, divided
½ pound elbow pasta, uncooked.
1 tablespoon butter
Preheat oven to 375°. Butter a baking dish and set aside.
Blend milk, cottage cheese, mustard, cayenne, nutmeg, salt and pepper. Blend until smooth.
Reserve ¼ cup cheddar cheese for topping.
Combine remaining cheese, macaroni, and milk mixture. Mix well.
Pour into prepared pan, spread evenly.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven. Gently stir macaroni.
Dot top of macaroni with butter and sprinkle with reserved cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes, until browned.
Let cool at least 15 minutes before serving.

- 350g dried elbow macaroni:
The type of pasta used for macaroni and cheese is typically elbow macaroni, you can use other types of noodles to make this dish. Try substituting twisted macaroni, shells, rotini, or even penne noodles for a change of pace.
1/4 cup unsalted butter,
1/3 cup all-purpose flour,
3 cups whole milk,
1/2 cup chicken stock,
1/2 tsp smoked paprika,
1/2 teaspoon salt,
1/4 teaspoon black pepper,
1/4 tsp grated nutmeg,
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese:
You can also experiment with different cheeses in your easy mac and cheese recipe. Cheddar is the most common type of cheese used, but you could try mozzarella, Swiss, or Parmesan. • 3 cups milk whole, 2%, or 1%
• 8 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese
✅Instructions
00:00:15 - Start water boiling for elbow macaroni
00:00:21 - Shred 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese with a cheese grater

00:01:55 - Add milk to roux and bring to a simmer
00:02:12 - Turn heat off and add cheese, stirring to melt

3️⃣ Pour in milk and whisk until smooth. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, for 3-5 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken. Turn off the heat and whisk in cheese until melted.
