whipped with salt salt FILLING 2 Cups brown sugar 1/2 Cup butter 1/2 Cup milk 1 Teaspoon vanilla Part 1- mix together the brown sugar, chocolate and 1 cup milk in pan. Let com e to boil, stirring until thick. Remove from heat and cool. Part II - Cream brown sugar, butter, egg yolks until very light. Add milk, fl our, vanilla, baking powder and mix. Mix this with Part 1 and then with egg whites which have been whipped with a pi nch of salt. Bake at 350 degrees . Filling- place all filling ingredients except vanilla in pan and cook to soft ball stage. Add vanilla. Beat until cool.

Hi everyone! I made this cake because... I really miss the devil's cake in Choco Kiss Cafe. The royal icing recipe is a combination of my experiments and memories of my lazy childhood in a bakery. I hope you have a good time trying this recipe. Enjoy and stay safe!
Ingredients: 1/2 cup cocoa powder 1 tsp baking soda 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/2 cup flour 3/4 cup sugar 2 eggs 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup water with 1 tbsp coffee 1/2 cup milk
Royal Icing: 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup water 3 egg whites 1 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Syrup: 1/4 cup milk 1/2 cup sugar 1 tbsp cocoa powder

My Devil's Food Chocolate Cake Recipe ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ½ cup room temperature unsalted butter
2 cups white sugar
1 teaspoons vanilla
4 large eggs at room temperature
2¼ cups all purpose
½ cup cocoa powder (Hershey's)
1½ teaspoons baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cups butter milk room temp
1/2 strong coffee - room temperature
Mix all wet together.
Combine all dry ingredients, add to wet ingredients
Bake at 340, mid rack of oven. Check at 25min. Toothpick in center.No crumbs, it's ready to eat. Or let it cool overnight Then frost.
