It had been ages since I last tasted what is perhaps Bengaluru’s most iconic chocolate dessert, the ‘Death By Chocolate’ popularly referred to as the DBC, at Corner House, where it was first crafted, supposedly in response to a customer’s request, over a couple of decades ago. A seemingly simple assemblage of vanilla ice cream, rich chocolate cake, cream, thick streams of molten hot chocolate and a liberal garnish of peanuts and cherries, this seems to be the dessert Bengaluru turns to, to quell a major chocolate craving. Like I attempted to in this impromptu ice cream outing!
