How To make Curried Lamb Chops
8 Lamb chops, preferably from
-the rack, about 2 lbs Salt and freshly ground -pepper to taste 1 tb Curry powder
1 tb Peanut oil
1 tb Butter
2 tb Finely chopped shallots
1/3 c Dry white wine
1/2 c Fresh or canned chicken
-broth 1 ts Tomato paste
1 tb Finely chopped parsley
Lamb is one of the greatly under-utilized meats here in the US, I think. There are a variety of recipes from around the world to inspire you. Actually, I was looking for my Mongolian lamb recipe but don't have it typed in (just use any ol' Mongolian beef recipe and substitute lamb for the beef and don't over cook it). Sprinkle the chops on both sides with salt and pepper. Rub them on both sides with curry powder to coat evenly. Heat oil in a skillet large enough to hold the chops in one layer. Add the chops and cook until browned on one side, about 2 minutes. Turn and brown on second side, about 2 minutes. Turn onto the fatty rims and continue cooking until the rims are rendered of fat, about 2 minutes. Turn the chops flat side down and cook, turning them occasionally. The total cooking time should be about 15 minutes. Transfer the chops to a dish and pour off all the fat from the skillet. Add 1 tablespoon of the butter to the skillet and heat. Add the shallots and cook, stirring, about 15 seconds. Add the wine and bring to a boil. Cook for about 1 minute and then add the chicken broth and tomato paste. Cook over moderately high heat until reduced to about 1/3 cup. Swirl in the remaining butter and pour the sauce over the chops. Serve sprinkled with parsley. Serves 4. Lamb Chop Curry recipe
I'm a big fan of lamb chops and in a curry, it's just food fantasy for me.
Ingredients
Marination
500g lamb chops
1 tablespoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon cumin powder
1/2 tablespoon chilli powder
1 tablespoon garam masala
1 tablespoon garlic ginger paste
1 tablespoon salt or to taste
2 tablespoon yoghurt
3 tablespoon oil
3 bayleaf
5-6 green cardamom
4-5 cloves
2 star anise
4-5 black peppercorns
2-3 cinnamon sticks
2 and half medium onions sliced
1 medium tomato
To add afterwards
1/2 bell pepper
3 green chillies
3 bullet chillies
2 tablespoon yoghurt (stirred in)
Fresh coriander
2 cup water in total

Mutton Chop Aloo (potato)
Ingredients:
850 gr / 1 kg Mutton Chops (if you cannot get hold of mutton then use lamb chops)
400 gr Potato
250 gr Onion
20 gr Ginger Paste
35 gr Garlic Paste
5-6 Green Chilli
5 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 tbs Mustard oil
4 Cardimon pods
2 bay leaf (Tez Pata)
2 Cinnamon Sticks (Casia Bark)
Coriander For Garnish
Boiling Water as instructed on the video.
Spices:
1.5 tsp Salt
0.5 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp curry Powder
1 tsp Chilli Powder
2 tsp Coriander Powder
0.5 tsp Cumin Powder
0.5 tsp Garam Massala Powder

INGRIEDIENTS: Lamb Chomps Gravy Style
1 Cup oil
1kg lamb chomps
4 inch cinnamon stick
half tsp whole black pepper
3-4 cloves
3 cardamom
3 tbs ginger and garlic paste
2 medium grinded onion
4 grinded tomato
2 tbs coriander powder
1 tbs red paprika powder
1 tsp white cumin seed powder
1 tsp red chilli powder - According to your taste
1 tsp salt - According to your taste
half tsp tumeric powder
2 tbs yogurt
1-2 cup water - As required
2 small brown fried crushed onion
fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Lamb Pepper Chops cooked in curry style a lip smacking mutton recipe with a delectable flavors of fresh peppercorns, garlic and cumin seeds embedded in the masalas and mutton pieces. It is a dry dish and goes well with chapatti, roti, naan or even best with hot rice and rasam.

Ingredients:
1 tsp butter
1 tbsp coconut powder
1 bunch coriander leaves
1 tbsp coriander powder
7 leaf curry leaves
pinch pinch garam masala podwer
2 each number Garama masala
1 tsp Ginger Garic Paste
500 grams Lamb chops
1 1/2 tbsp Oil
1 cup onions
1 1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
as per taste salt
pinch Turmeric Powder
Directions:
Take Lamb chops wash and keep a side.
Take a presure cooker add oil,garam masalas, chopped onions mix well then add ginger garlic,turmeric,curry leaves,salt to taste,red chilli powder,coconut powder,coriander powder saute little bit then add chops into it mix well and add some water and close with presure cooker lid and cook for 15 min.
Once the chops are cooked keep it a side, take a non stick pan add butter, chopped garlic,pepper powder, some more curry leaves and mix well now add the cooked chops to this mixture.
Cook this in very slow flame till it changes colour to brown or till the masala sticks to the chops.
Lastly add coriander leaves chopped and garama masala powder.
Serve with roti or rice

Delicious rich curry made with hearty lamb chops, curry powder, potatoes and carrots as the main ingredients. Also has Jamaican spices, scotch bonnet and thyme. The chops are slow cooked for a few hours to allow the meat to get completely tender. It literally falls apart and has absorbed all of the delicious flavors that it cooked in. Taste incredible!!
