Sweet Potato and Squash Casserole Recipe:
2 large sweet potatoes
1/2 butternut squash
1/2 yellow onion
2 cups milk
2 Tbs flour
2 cloves garlic
1 and 1/2 tsp freshly chopped sage
3 Tbs butter
olive oil
black pepper
asiago or parmesan cheese

Sweet Potato Casserole
2 1/2 lb, can (about 3 cups) sweet potatoes, drained
1/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 Tablespoon vanilla
1/2 cup butter, softened
TOPPING:
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup pecan pieces
Preheat oven to 350°.
Beat together sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and butter. Pour into a non- stick sprayed 8 inch square baking dish.
In a medium sized bowl, work together the brown sugar, flour, butter and pecan pieces for the topping. Spread over the sweet potato mixture.
Bake 40-45 minutes or until top is lightly browned.
Center may not be set but will firm up as it cools. Allow to rest appropriately 15 minutes for casserole to set before serving.

3 cups Mashed Sweet Potato
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 Stick of Butter (unsalted)
1/4 Tsp Cinnamon
1/8 Tsp Nutmeg
1 Tbsp Orange Juice
1 Tsp. Vanilla
1 bag of Minature Marshmallows
Directions ????
✨1. Blend mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, egg, butter (melted), orange juice, and vanilla.
✨2. Add cinnamon and nutmeg.
✨3. Add 1/2 of the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
✨4. Add a layer of marshmallows.
✨5. Add the last layer of mixture.
✨6. Bake at 350 for 30 min.
✨7. Remove from oven and add the last layer of marshmallows.
✨8. Bake until golden brown (about 10 min)
✨9. Impress all your guest with this dish!
No this is not low calorie but it’s Thanksgiving! ???????? Let’s just try to get a workout in today ????
Pro tip ???????? if you don’t want to bother cooking the sweet potatoes you can also use a large can of yams!

✅Ingredients
For the Sweet Potato Casserole:
4 large dark skinned sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
½ cup white sugar
2 beaten eggs
½ teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons softened butter
½ cup milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Pecan Streusel Topping:
½ cup packed brown sugar
⅓ cup all purpose flour
3 tablespoons softened butter
½ cup chopped pecans
✅Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
2️⃣ In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the cubed sweet potatoes and return to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer the sweet potatoes until they are tender (about 15-20 minutes). Once done, drain the water.
3️⃣ In a large bowl, combine white sugar, eggs, salt, butter, milk, and vanilla. Mix in the cooked sweet potatoes using a hand mixer until the mixture is smooth. Transfer this mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
4️⃣ In a separate medium bowl, prepare the streusel topping. Combine the brown sugar and flour. Cut in the butter until the mixture has a coarse texture. Stir in the chopped pecans. Evenly sprinkle this topping over the sweet potato mixture in the baking dish.
5️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
6️⃣ Once the casserole has finished baking, remove it from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes. This resting period allows the casserole to set, making it easier to serve. After it has cooled slightly, serve warm.
