How To make Cozze Al Vino Bianco(Mussels In a White Wine Sauce)
2 whole garlic cloves
crushed
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup onions :
julienned
1 Pinch red pepper flakes
2 sprigs fresh thyme
1 cup dry white wine
64 mussels (approximately 3 pounds)
2 tablespoons chopped Italian parsley
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
1/2 cup chicken stock (optional)
In a deep skillet, cook the garlic cloves until golden in the olive oil. Add onions and cook until wilted. Add red pepper flakes, thyme, and whitewine, and bring to a boil. Then simmer for 2 minutes.
Add mussels and parsley. Cover tight and cook over medium flame untilshells open (approximately 3-5 minutes). Add parsley, butter andbreadcrumbs, and if the mussels do not have enough juice, you can addchicken stock. Bring all to a vigorous boil for 2 minutes, shaking theskillet well so that all ingredients mix well.

White Wine Mussels | My FAVORITE SEAFOOD recipe!
Mussels in white wine sauce with garlic, parsley, and butter is one of our favorite summer seafood recipes to make! These are made just like how they come when you order mussels in white sauce at your local New York Italian restaurant. This seafood recipe only takes about 15-20 minutes total time to make. I hope you enjoy this Italian mussels recipe.

INGREDIENTS:
▪2 pounds mussels *cleaned*
▪4 tablespoon unsalted butter
▪2 tablespoons olive oil
▪6 cloves garlic minced
▪1/2 cup minced parsley
▪1/4 tsp chili flakes *optional*
▪1 cup dry white wine
▪1/2 tsp salt plus more to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Saute the minced garlic in the olive oil over medium-low heat until golden (about 2 minutes).
2. If using them add in the chili flakes then add in the white wine and turn heat to high. Boil for 3 minutes.
3. Turn heat to medium and add the mussels into pan and cover.
4. Once mussels open (about 3-5 minutes) remove the lid.
5. Turn heat to low and add in the butter and parsley and stir it all together. Season with salt and pepper to get the taste just right. Serve with crusty bread.

FULL LIST OF INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Pkg. of Frozen Aldi Mussels or 1-2 lbs of Fresh Mussels
- 1 Tbsp Butter
- 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- Juice of a Lemon
- Lemon Zest
- 1 Tsp Red Chili Pepper Flakes ( Optional if you don't prefer spice.)
- Salt & Pepper to Taste
- 1/2 to 1 Cup of White Wine (Chicken Broth is an Alternative)
- 1 Tbsp Heavy Cream for Additional Richness (Optional)
- Parsley for Garnish
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Over medium heat, melt a tbsp of butter in a skillet or saucepan. Add in the minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice with zest, then saute for about 1 minute. Be careful not to burn the garlic or cook it too long.
2. Next add in the white wine, salt, pepper, then cover the pan with a lid.
3. Once the liquid has come to a simmer covered, remove the lid and add the mussels in one layer. Cover with the lid once more and cook the mussels for 3-4 minutes or until all of the mussels are open.
4. Remove the lid, plate, garnish, and enjoy!
