How To make Chocolate Malt Cake 2
1/2 c Butter; softened
1 1/3 c Sugar
1 c Instant malted milk powder
3/4 c Unsweetened cocoa powder
; firmly packed 4 Eggs
2 c Flour
3 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1 3/4 c Half & half
Chocolate malted frosting: 1/2 c Half & half
1/2 c Instant malted milk powder
1/2 c Butter; softened
1/2 c Unsweetened cocoa powder
2 1/2 c Powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 375~. In a large bowl, combine together butter and sugar until light and fluffy; add malted milk powder and cocoa and beat just until mixed. Add eggs, beating well. Sift together dry ingredients, and add to chocolate mixture alternately with half and half. Spread evenly in a well greased 9x13" pan, and bake 35-40 minutes or until done. Let cool in pan completely. Chocolate Malted Frosting: In a medium bowl, combine the half and half and malted milk powder. Stir to combine, and let stand 15 minutes to dissolve the powder. In a medium bowl, beat together the butter and cocoa. Add malted milk mixture and beat well. Add powdered sugar and beat on high. Frost cake -----

Chocolate Malt Cake | No Oven Chocolate Malt Cake Recipe | Hira Bakes
Here is super easy recipe for Malt Cake lovers. Anyone can try this at home even if you don't have an oven. This Rich and Fudgy Malt Cake is layered in between and on sides with luscious silky Chocolate Malt frosting made from scratch and topped up with Maltesers. You may use any brand of Malt powder you like. I have used Milo here which is my favorite.
If you want to make it in oven; bake it in 9 inch round pan in preheated oven @ 180C / 350F for 25-30 mins or until the toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Ingredients:
Malt Cake
All Purpose Flour - 2 cups
Malt Powder (Milo) - 1/2 cup
Cocoa Powder - 1/2 cup
Baking Powder - 1 tsp
Baking Soda - 1 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Buttermilk - 1 cup
Oil - 1/2 cup
Eggs - 3
Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
Granulated Sugar - 3/4 cup
Malt Frosting;

Best Chocolate Malt Cake Recipe
Best Chocolate Malt Cake Recipe:
For cake:
Butter 16 oz (4 sticks) (room temperature)
Sugar 1.5 cups
All purpose Flour 1.5 cups
Eggs 6 (eggs and whites separated)
Vanilla essence 1.5 tsp
Baking powder 2 tsp
Milk Chocolate 4 oz (1/2 cup)
Cocoa powder 5 tbs
Salt 3/4 tsp
Cream 4 tbs
Malt powder 1/3 cup
For syrup: (can be used in ANY AND ALL cakes)
mix 3 tbs of sugar with
5 tbs of water and
Splash of vanilla essence.
When it boils, pour it over the hot cake right out of the oven. (No need of pricking the cake). I use my brush, to spread it evenly.
For Malt frosting:
Milk chocolate 3/4th cup
Cream 1/2 cup
Powdered sugar 3/4 cup
Vanilla essence 1tsp
Butter 2 oz or 1/2 stick
Cream cheese 8 oz
Malt powder 2 tbs
Cocoa powder 1 tbs
Salt pinch
Grease with oil or butter 2 pans 9 inches wide, and preheat the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mix cream with chocolate chips and microwave on 30 seconds intervals for 1-2 mins until it’s all melted
Now Beat together butter and sugar nicely. Mix egg yolks in the butter and sugar mixture and mix it nicely. Add vanilla and melted chocolate with cream in it and mix.
Whisk together all the dry ingredients and keep it aside
Beat egg whites until they Triple in volume and stiff peaks form. This will take around 8-10 minutes.
Now add stiff egg whites and the dry ingredients one after another 2-3 times and fold them gently in the butter, sugar and egg mixture.
It will be a very thick, mud like batter. Transfer it in the prepared pans and shove in the oven. It will take 35 to 45 minutes. Keep an eye on your cake, and take it out when the toothpick when inserted, comes out clean.
While it’s hot, add the sugar syrup on it! Let it cool before you take the cake out of the pan. Make the frosting below ????????
For frosting:
Milk chocolate chips: 3/4 cup
Cream 1/2 cup
Confectioners sugar (powdered sugar) 1/2 cup
Mix cream with chocolate chips and microwave on 30 seconds intervals for 1-2 mins until it’s all melted
Beat the butter and cream cheese nicely, now add all the above ingredients and beat again.
For best results, refrigerate the cake for a couple of hours before serving and ENJOY!!!
