Easy Refried Bean Dip
Easy to make refried bean dip is so delicious you won’t be able to stop eating. With simple ingredients it comes together in less than 10 minutes.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 18 minutes
Servings: 12 servings
Ingredients
16oz refried bean (canned or homemade)
4oz cream cheese (softened)
½ cup sour cream
4 teaspoon taco seasoning
¼ cup mild green chilies (drained and chopped)
¼ cup jalapenos (deseeded and chopped) – adjust quantity according to your taste preference
2 green onion, white and green part separately chopped
1 ½ cup Monterey Jack cheese, freshly grated, divided
1 ½ cup sharp cheddar cheese, freshly grated, divided
For Garnish
Fresh cilantro
Green onion
Pico De Gallo (optional)
Few Jalapeno slices
Instructions
1. Pre-heat oven at 350°F. In a bowl add refried bean, softened cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning. Using a stand mixer or a hand blender or whisk beat it together until combined. You want to have a smooth mix.
2. Add mild green chilies (drained and chopped), jalapenos (if using), white part of green onion and half of both Monterey Jack and sharp cheddar cheese.
3. Mix it all together.
4. Use any baking dish such as 8x8 inch square dish or 2qt baking dish. Grease it with cooking spray (optional).
5. Spread bean dip mix on the dish.
6. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top evenly.
7. Bake in pre heated oven at 350°F for 18 to 20 minutes or until hot and cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Serve hot with tortilla chips. You can also use protein-rich refried bean dip in other Mexican dishes such as tacos, enchiladas and burritos. Also spread them on quesadilla or on top of a tostada. It’s delicious anyway you serve!

Delicious, healthy bean paste! Red bean roll on the festive table.original way to cook beans
Do you want to cook an original bean dish? Have you ever tried red bean paté? Delicious step by step bean roll recipe. Surprise your guests and loved ones ;)
Bean roll pate
Hi all. Today I'm making a red bean pâté roll. Soak the beans in water for 4 hours. I always soak overnight. Rinse with water and put on fire to cook until tender.
We take out the boiled beans with a slotted spoon or overturn in a colander.
Chop the onion and fry in oil until golden brown. Add fried onions, 2 cloves of garlic and chopped greens (I have cilantro, you can take dill and a little basil), a small piece of soft butter to the beans and punch with a blender. The pate will be even tastier if you add ground walnuts. Add spices: ground coriander, salt, ground black pepper, ground red pepper, ginger powder). If the consistency is strong, add a little broth in which the beans were cooked. But don't overdo it. Otherwise, the roll will not hold its shape.
Covered with cling film or baking paper and spread the bean paste in a small layer, about 1 cm. Apply soft butter on top and twist the roll. Put the finished pate in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours in the refrigerator.
Chilled pate cut into rolls.
I want to add that beans are a very useful product. By the amount of protein, it is not inferior to meat or fish. But the list of beneficial substances of legumes does not end there (vitamins, trace elements, copper, iron, sulfur, zinc). Cook for health
Products menu:
300-400 grams of beans
2 cloves of garlic
1 medium onion
Greens
handful of walnuts
100-200 grams soft butter
Salt, pepper, paprika, ground coriander, ginger powder

EASY WEEKNIGHT GROUND BEEF CHILI
Adapted from The Food Lab
Sometimes even the best of us don’t feel like going all out. Here’s a much quicker weeknight chili that uses a few of the tricks learned from my Best Short-Rib Chili (page 259) and the 30-minute bean soup recipes (pages 196–200). I use ground beef here, which precludes real browning as an option, but a couple of smoky chipotle chiles added to the mix lend a similar sort of deep complex- ity. Serve the chili with grated cheddar cheese, sour cream, chopped onions, scallions, sliced jalapeños, diced avo- cado, and/or chopped cilantro, along with corn chips or warmed tortillas.
SERVES 4 TO 6
4 tablespoons unsalted butter2 medium onions, grated on the large holes of a box grater (about 11⁄2 cups)2 large cloves garlic, minced or grated on a Microplane (about 4 teaspoons)1 teaspoon dried oreganoKosher salt2 chipotle chiles packed in adobo, finely chopped2 anchovy fillets, mashed to a paste with the back of a fork1⁄2 cup Chile Paste (page 259) or 1⁄4 cup chili powder1 tablespoon ground cumin1⁄2 cup tomato paste2 pounds boneless ground chuck One 28-ounce can whole tomatoes, drained and chopped into 1⁄2-inch piecesOne 15-ounce can red kidney beans, drained1 cup homemade or low-sodium canned chicken stock, or water2 to 3 tablespoons instant cornmeal (such as Maseca)2 tablespoons whiskey, vodka, or brandy (optional)Freshly ground black pepper Garnishes as desired (see the headnote)
1. Melt the butter in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the onions, garlic, oregano, and a pinch of salt and cook, stirring fre- quently until the onions are light golden brown, about 5 minutes. Add the chipotles, anchovies, chile paste, and cumin and cook, stirring, until aromatic, about 1 minute. Add the tomato paste and cook, stirring until homogeneous, about 1 minute.
2. Add the ground beef and cook, using a wooden spoon to break up the beef into pieces and stirring frequently, until no longer pink (do not try to brown the beef ), about 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes, beans, stock, and cornmeal and stir to combine. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, and cook, stirring occasionally, until the flavors have developed and the chili is thickened, about 30 minutes.
3. Stir in the whiskey, if using. Serve with some or all of the suggested gar- nishes, along with corn chips or tortillas.
