How To make Chili Bean Soup
1 pound pink beans
uncooked
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon onion salt
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
10 fl. ounces beef broth :
or chicken broth
1 16 oz. can canned stewed tomatoes
5/8 ounce chili seasoning mix
Soak beans by the preferred method. (For each pound of California dry beans ad d 10 cups hot water. You may add up to 2 teaspoons of salt per pound of beans to help the beans absorb water more evenly. Heat to boiling, let boil 2 to 3 m inutes. Remove from heat, cover and set aside for at least 1 hour, but prefera bly 4 hours or more. The longer soaking time is recommended to allow a greater amount of sugars to dissolve, thus helping the beans to be more easily digeste d. Always discard the soak water.) Drain and empty them into a large pot. Add 6 to 8 cups boiling water, garlic and onion salt, thyme, marjoram. Cover
and simmer until beans are tender (2 1/2 to 3 hours.) Don't let beans boil dry. Ad d hot water as needed. Spoon out 3 cups of the cooked beans to use another day in another way. Mash rest of beans with their liquid. Add remaining ingredie nts, plus 1 cup hot water. Heat at least 10 minutes to blend flavors.

Cut up some onions and peppers. Cook them in a big pot until soft. Dump in canned crushed or puréed tomatoes and undrained canned beans — roughly equal quantities is a good starting point, though I like extra tomato. Dump in a lot of spices until you like how it tastes — cumin + smoked paprika + oregano + garlic powder is a good basic blend. Simmer for about a half hour. If you want to be fancy, melt in a little dark chocolate. Eat and go do something else with your life.

Cooked using kidney beans, tomato, onion, corn flour, and carrots, this is an easy-to-make soup recipe.

Ingredients -
For stock
500 gms tomatoes
150 gms carrots
3 ½ cups water
Chopp the vegs and cook it in the pressure cooker for 10 mins. churn the vegs and strain with a fine sieve.
For topping Ingredients - ½ tsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp sugar
½ cup milk
½ cup boiled kidney beans
1 ½ spring onions with leaves
1 finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Tabasco sauce to taste
Grated cheese to garnish
Method -
Heat butter, sauté capsicums for 1 min, add kidney beans and cook. Pour the stock and alow it to boil. When the stock comes to a boil add all the seasoning ingredients like salt, pepper, red chilli powder, sugar and boil for 8 to 10 mins. Mix cornflour in milk and add to the soup and boil for 2 mins, add spring onions and remove from flame. Pour the soup in a serving bowl and garnish with cheese, spring onion leaves and Tabasco sauce and serve hot.

1 lb chuck roast, cubed small
2 lb ground beef
1 yellow onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
2 Tbsp tomato paste
1-28oz can tomato purée
1-28oz can diced tomatoes
8-10oz draft beer (lager)
36-40oz beef broth
1-15oz can black beans
2-15oz cans dark red beans
2 Tablespoons smoked paprika
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, less for less spice
2 Tablespoons chili powder
1 Tablespoon cumin
1 teaspoon all purpose seasoning (Natures Seasoning)
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
2 teaspoons avocado oil
