bread, slices, crumbled

crackers, crumbled

teaspoon
thyme, sage, or poultry seasoning

cup
chicken broth

oz
chicken broth, can
4

eggs, beaten
1/2
cup
milk
1/2
teaspoon
baking powder
3-4
cup
chicken
Directions:
Boil hen or large fryer for your broth and chicken. Saute onions and celery in butter. Pour this mixture over bread crumbs in a very large mixing bowl. Add seasonings and toss together. Pour enough broth into mixture to moisten. Add beaten eggs and mix together well. Add baking powder, milk, and remaining broth. Mixture should be very slushy. (Pouring point).
Add chicken. Pack tightly into a 5 quart crockpot. Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours. Reduce to LOW and cook 4 to 8 hours.

Ingredients:
6 cups cornbread
2 1/2 cups stuffing mix
4 to 5 cups chicken broth
2 to 3 cups cooked chicken chopped
3 stalks celery minced
1 medium onion minced
1 bell pepper minced
1/2 can cream celery
1/2 can cream of chicken
3 eggs
Seasoning Salt
Black pepper
Sage
Poultry seasoning
Taste your food to adjust your seasoning to
Mix everything together
Bake chicken and dressing in 350 degrees oven for 30 to 45 minutes.

Who say u cant eat dressing any time of the year?
This video is slightly different from my normal cornbread dressing
But its just as good and flavorful a very simple quick moist and flavorful dressing
The recipe posted below is the recipe i use for my normal thanksgiving cornbread dressing
???? OLD SCHOOL CORNBREAD DRESSING ????
This is a recipe i have been using for over 40 years
I guarantee if you follow this recipe exactly
Your dressing will be moist flavorful and delicious
RECIPE
1 pan OLD SCHOOL CORNBREAD ( crumbled)
2 quart OLD SCHOOL TURKEY stock
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onions
2 tablespoons chopped sage
2 tablespoons chopped thyme
2 tablespoons chopped rosemary
1 cup chopped turkey neck meat( previously cooked for 1 hour)(optional)
1/2 cup chopped giblets (previously cooked for 2 hours)(optimal)
1# sage breakfast sausage
4 eggs beaten
In large stock pot
cook sausage until brown and crumbled
Add onions, herbs ,celery and turkey stock
Simmer for 30-45 minutes
Add turkey neck and giblets
Simmer another 10 minutes
Add stock to crumbled CORNBREAD in large bowl and add eggs
Mix well and season with salt and pepper
Pour in baking dish and cook for 30 -45 minutes uncovered on 350 degrees or until its slightly set (don't over cook, dressing should be moist, not dry and crumbly. Maybe crisp edges.
GREAT with any protein you make. Especially, Turkey or Chicken. ENJOY with giblets gravy, cranberry sauce,

Chicken Dressing Casserole
2 pounds boneless chicken breasts, cooked and cubed (or a rotisserie chicken)
Mrs. Dash Onion and Herb Seasoning
2 (10.5 ounce) cans Cream of Chicken Soup
1/4 cup whole milk
1 onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, sliced thin
12 oz. Stove Top Stuffing
2 cups chicken broth
2 sticks butter, melted
Preheat oven to 375°. Spray a 9”x13” inch casserole dish.
Cook chicken breasts, allow to cool slightly, and chop into bite sized pieces. (Or shred a rotisserie chicken.). Spread in the bottom of casserole dish.
Lightly sprinkle the chicken with the Mrs. Dash Seasoning. 
Stir together the soups, milk, onion, and celery. Pour this mixture evenly over the chicken.
In the same bowl, stir together the contents of the Stove Top Stuffing packages, the chicken broth, and the melted butter. Spread the stuffing gently over the soup mixture to cover the top.
Bake at 375° for 40 minutes.

Southern Style Chicken Dressing made with cornbread dressing.
Ingredients:
1 pan of cornbread
1 package of stuffing mix savory herb’s flavor
8 pieces of baked chicken parts or boiled chicken
Chopped celery, bell peppers, & onions
Chicken broth
Seasoning salt
Black pepper
Onion powder
Sage
Thyme
Poultry seasoning
Garlic powder
Chicken Bouillon Powder
3 eggs beaten
4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour
Or until you have a golden brown crust on top.

1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
Note: You really can use any condensed soup you like that fits the flavor profile. cream of chicken, cream of celery, cream of mushroom, cream of golden mushroom, etc.
