How To make Cheddar Fans
5 oz Cheddar; Sharp, Grated 1/2 c Butter Or Shortening
2 c Unbleached Flour; Sifted 1/2 c Milk
1 tb Baking Powder 1 x Butter; Softened
1 ts Salt 1 x Butter; Melted
Grease the bottoms of 12 muffin pan cups. Grate the cheese into a bowl, if not already grated and set aside. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Cut in the shortening with a pastry blender or two knives, until the mixture resembles coarse corn meal. Make a well in the center of the mixture and add the milk all at once. Stir with a fork until the dough forms a ball. Gently form the dough into a ball and put on a lightly floured surface. Knead it lightly with the fingertips 10 or 15 times. Roll the dough into a 12 X 10-inch rectangle about 1/4-inch
thick. Cut into 5 strips and spread with the softened butter. Sprinkle four strips with the grated cheddar cheese and stack the four on top of one another and top with the fifth strip. Cut into 12 equal pieces and place on end in the muffin cups. Brush the tops of the rolls with the melted butter. Bake at 450 degrees F. for 10 to 15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown. Serve hot with butter. Makes 1 dozen Cheddar Fans. -----

Bisquick Cheddar Garlic Biscuits
BISQUICK CHEDDAR GARLIC BISCUITS
This biscuits are very comparable to Red Lobsters and really only take a few minutes to make!
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups Bisquick baking mix
3/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Topping:
2 Tbsp. salted butter
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
In a small bowl add the Bisquick, milk, garlic powder and cheese. Mix until well combined.
Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray or line with parchment paper. Scoop the dough onto the baking sheet, I used a small ice cream scoop. Makes about 9 biscuits.
Place in the oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Melt the butter and add the garlic powder to it. Brush the garlic butter over the warm biscuits. Best if served immediately.

Ingredients:
4 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
2 scallions, roughly chopped
1 chopped jalapeno, stem removed and roughly chopped
pinch of salt and pepper
4 tbsp butter, at room temperature
1 cup freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 loaf of your favorite bread
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425 F.
In the bowl of a food processor, combine the garlic, scallions, jalapeno, salt and pepper, and butter. Blend until smooth. Scrape down the sides with a spatula, then pulse the cheese in for no more than 5 seconds (you just want it mixed in, not blended).
Cut the bread through the middle, then slather evenly with the butter cheese mixture. Bake for 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden, then slice the bread into pieces. If you desire crunchier bread, return the slices to the sheet tray and bake for another 5 minutes. Enjoy!

Let’s make some cheddar cheese soup! This is one of my favorite recipes, especially when the weather is a little chilly outside. I am not a fan of the super heavy gloopy gloop punch you in the stomach with cheese version of this soup, but rather am a fan of a lighter version that showcases the sharpness of the cheddar, and honestly it’s pretty quick and simple. So that’s what I want to show you today, let’s jump into it!

Ingredients:
- 3 spring onions
- 2 carrots
- 4 oz [115 g] sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 quart [1L] chicken stock
- 3 Tbsp [8.5 g] butter
- 1/4 cup [35 g] all-purpose flour.
- Worcestershire sauce
- White (or Black Pepper)
- Tobasco (optional)
- Salt
