Potato and Cabbage Soup Recipe
Quick 1 minute recipe for hearty potato and cabbage soup.
2 Russet potatoes
1 onion
2 celery stalks
1/2 head of cabbage
4 strips bacon, sliced
2 bay leaves
1c cannoli beans
2c ham stock
spinach
salt and pepper
Cube 2 russet potatoes. Dice 1 onion and 2 stalks of celery. Chop 1/2 a head of cabbage. Slice 4 pieces of bacon. Add all to an olla with salt, pepper, bay leaf and a handful of spinach. Cover with ham stock. Cook at 350° for 1 1/2 hours. Add one cup cannoli beans. Heat through and serve.

The first of many cabbage soup diet recipes is the military cabbage soup . For this recipe , a large pot over 13 ounces of chicken broth, 3 bell peppers, a can of whole tomatoes , a head of cabbage , green onion to taste, and a large bunch of celery is required. Wash all vegetables with cool water gently rubbing all areas. Cut the vegetables into sizes you can eat comfortably. Place all ingredients in the pot on the stove over high heat. Let the soup comes to a boil , which could take up to 15 minutes. Turn the heat on low and simmer for 10 minutes. Vegetables should not be overcooked when soup is done.
