How To make Brown Sugar Cake
2 c Brown sugar; packed
1 3/4 c Flour; sifted
2 ts Cinnamon
2 ts Ground ginger
1 ts Ground cardamom
1 ts Ground cloves
1 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Salt
2 Eggs
3/4 c Buttermilk (*)
1/2 c Butter; melted
1 c Pecans; chopped
BUTTERSCOTCH GLAZE:
1/4 c Butter
1/4 c Brown sugar
2 tb Milk
1 c Powdered sugar
1 ts Vanilla or rum extract
Preheat oven to 325F. Grease and flour 9-cup tube (Bundt) pan. In large bowl combine dry ingredients. Add buttermilk, eggs and melted butter. Beat well. Add nuts if desired. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 50 minutes or until tests done. Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes. Turn out onto wire rack or plate. Cool. Top with Butterscotch Glaze. (*) I used 4 Tbsp. buttermilk powder, added with the dry ingredients. Then I added 3/4 C. water where the buttermilk is to be added. GLAZE: In sauce pan, combine butter, brown sugar and milk. Bring to full boil, add sugar and extract. Beat until smooth. Add more milk to make a good consistency for drizzling if necessary.

Set Oven to 325
1 cup butter softened/ aka 2 sticks
2 cups brown sugar packed
1 cup granulated sugar
5 eggs room temperature
1-2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour sifted
1 teaspoons baking powder (I said 2 in the video but it's actually 1 teaspoon)
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup toffee baking bits plus more for garnish
CARAMEL FROSTING
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup brown sugar packed (I said 2 in the video but it's 1 cup) I used two 1/2 cups
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup pecan cookie pieces & toffees bits optional garnish (mixed together)

Hello, Today's recipe is Soft & Moist Vanilla plain cake .. I should say this is the easiest cake recipe to make.
And you can store the cake slices in refrigerator for about 1 week. I hope you will give this a try . Bake this super easy vannila plain cake and make your kid happy.:)
1.Plain cake Recipe
Ingredients:
Butter: 125 gm
Sugar: 125 gm
Eggs : 3 Nos.
Vanilla Essence: 1 teaspoon
Milk Powder: 20 gms
Flour: 125 gms
Baking Powder: ½ teaspoon
Method:
1.Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
2. Add vanilla to eggs.
3. Now add about half eggs to the butter mixture. Mix well till no traces of eggs are seen.
4. Then add the milk powder and mix.
5. Once the milk powder is incorporated, add the remaining eggs and mix till no traces of egg are seen.
6. Sieve the flour. Add baking powder to it and mix well with a spoon.
7. Now fold in the flour using a spatula in the mixture.
8. Pour the batter into prepared containers.
9. Bake in 2 round containers of 5-inch diameter or small loaf tins.
10. Bake at 180 degree Celsius for 30-35 minutes.
