1 c Flour, self-raising
1 c Rolled oats
1 c Coconut, desiccated
1 c Sugar, raw
1 Egg
1/2 lb Butter
1 tb Golden syrup
Recipe by: Found on the net Combine flour, oats, coconut, sugar and egg. Melt butter and add golden syrup, then pour over combined ingredients and mix. Spread over flat baking dish (about 1/2-inch thick), and cook for 25-30 mins at 350 degrees F. Slice when warm. Cooking with Two Guys Who Don’t Know How To Cook
Rowan’s Vegan Gluten Free Protein Power Breakfast Bars
1/2 cup butter substitute
1 cup nut butter
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup water
2 cup vanilla protein powder
2 cup oats
1/2 cup flaxseed meal
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1 cup crasins
Mix butter substitute, nut butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and water in a large bowl. Mix protein powder, oats, flaxseed meal, salt, baking soda, and crasins in a medium bowl and then combine into the large bowl with the other ingredients.
Place on cookie sheet. Bake 18 min at 350F.

From Our Kitchen: Chocolate-Chip Kale Cookies
Chocolate Kale Cookies
Yield: 2 to 3 dozen
1 egg
½ cup applesauce, unsweetened
½ cup light brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 cup unbleached flour
½ cup whole wheat flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
2 cup raw kale
1 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
• Preheat oven to 350°F
• Remove stems from kale.
• Place kale in pot of boiling water and cook for 30-45 seconds
• Using the tongs, remove kale and place under cold running water or in a bowl of ice
• Squeeze kale until all the water has been removed
• Chop kale into tiny pieces or place in food processor
• Mix all the WET (egg, applesauce, brown sugar and vanilla) ingredients together in one bowl, adding kale last
• Mix all the DRY (both flours, baking soda, and salt) ingredients together in a separate bowl (except chocolate chips)
• Combine the WET and the DRY ingredients, adding in chocolate chips at the end
• Scoop out about 1 tablespoon size cookie dough onto parchment lined baking sheet, spacing them out.
• Bake for 15 minutes
