This super moist FRUIT CAKE recipe completely changed my mind about fruit cake!

Never in a million years did I think fruit cake would make it to my top 10 favourite cakes of all time! I literally despised fruit cake growing up, always finding it too dry or having too many sultanas. UNTIL I developed this super moist fruit cake recipe that is packed with fruit, nuts, dates and so much more!
INGREDIENTS LIST:
For accuracy, I would recommend using the gram measurements provided as those are the exact quantities I use. Cup measurements are given as estimates (based on US cup measurements) to make it easier for those who do not have a scale.
Fruit Cake
▢¾ cups (170 g) unsalted butter
▢¾ cups (150 g) soft brown sugar
▢2 cups (350 g) dried fruits - I used a combination of sultanas, raisins, currants, red and green glace cherries and citrus peel (see note 1 on blog post)
▢½ cup (100 g) dates - pitted and cut into small pieces, see note 2 on blog post
▢⅔ cups (166 g) store bought sweetened orange juice - like Just Juice, Tropicana etc.
▢1½ tbsp orange zest - the zest of about 1 medium sized orange. The juice of the orange will be used later in the syrup.
▢2 tbsp (36 g) molasses
▢1¾ cups (210 g) all purpose flour
▢1½ tsps baking powder
▢½ tsp salt
▢1½ tsps cinnamon powder
▢½ tsp ground ginger powder
▢¼ tsp nutmeg
▢1 tsp all spice
▢¼ cup (52 g) unflavoured vegetable oil - I use canola oil
▢3 large eggs
▢1 cup (100 g) walnuts - halved
Orange Syrup/Glaze
▢3 tbsp (50 g) freshly squeezed orange juice
▢1¾ tbsp (20 g) white granulated sugar

Easy And Moist Holiday Fruit Cake!!
Everyone loves this cake that I prepared during Holidays. Super moist and easy to make kind of fruit cake but without alcohol which is child friendly.
Here's what you'll need:
2 cups of any candied fruits
1/3 cup apple juice (80ml)
1/2 cup butter (110g) room temp
3/4 cup dark brown sugar (150g)
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5ml)
2 tablespoons honey (30g)
2 tablespoons oil (30ml)
1 and 1/2 cup plain flour or all purpose flour(190g)
1 tsp baking powder (5g)
1/2 tsp nutmeg (2g)
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder(2g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
1 cup of any dried nuts
2 tsp of lemon zest
1/3 cup apple juice

Dhe Ruchi I Ep 39 - Boiled Fruit Cake Recipe I Mazhavil Manorama
1. Boiled Fruit Cake Recipe
Raisins
Tutti fruity
Cherry
Orange peel
Maida
Butter
Sugar
Egg
Spices powders
Baking soda
Baking powder.
Vanila essence
Heat the pan and caramelize the sugar
Add the fruits and mix well
Add the butter and adequate water
Add baking soda
Add the orange peel pieces
Allow to cool
Mix the maida, baking powder cloves-cinnamon-nutmeg
Beat the egg and add vanilla essence into it
Take a bowl and shift the fruit mix. Add the beeted egg and salt.
Gently put the maida mix into the bowl mix well
Bake the fruit mix at 160 degree for 1 hour
For Icing
Take some sugar in a boiling water. Boil it became 1 string consistency
Beat an egg white and add some sugar
Double boil the egg white while beating and add the hot water gently
Beat well until became thick.
Spread the mix as topping over the cake.

Easy boiled fruit Cake
ingredients
3 cups fruit Cake Mix
125g butter
3 eggs
1+1/4 Cup sugar
1+1/2 Cup water
5ml bicarbonate soda
650ml Selfraising Flour
optional walnuts/ pecan nuts
Method
Preheat oven to 170 degrees
boil together butter,sugar,water,fruit Cake mix
and bicarbonate soda
for 10 minutes on stove top
set aside to cool slightly
Add flour and eggs
mix till combined.
Add to baking dish of your choosing
bake for 50-55 minutes depending on your oven or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
