How To make Bengali Style Oven Fried Potatoes
2 lb Russet potatoes
Olive oil spray 1/4 ts Turmeric
1/2 ts Cumin
1/4 ts Cayenne
Salt & pepper Preheat oven to 400F. Remove oven racks & spray them with oil. Wash potatoes & slice them lengthwise into sticks 1/2" thick or crosswise into rounds 1/3" thivk. Trnasfer to a baking pan & spray well with oil. Add seasonings & toss to coat. Place the rounds in a single layer on the oven racks. Place the racks in the centre of the oven. Bake until the potatoes are tender, with a deep, golden-brown crust, about 20 to 25 minutes. Serve piping hot.

Enjoy delicious oven roasted potatoes coated in a masala dust seasoning.
You'll get to make the seasoning too which you can use as a marinade of rub.
4 tablespoon olive oil
4 garlic cloves minced
2 tablespoon Masala Dust
1/2 tablespoon salt
2 large Potatoes
180c 45 minutes
Masala Dust Seasoning
1 tablespoon Onion salt
1 tablespoon Red chilli flakes
1/2 tablespoon Black pepper
1 tablespoon Kashmiri chilli powder
1 tablespoon Paprika
3/4 tablespoon Dry coriander leaves
1 tablespoon Garlic powder
1/2 tablespoon salt
Instructions
Chop potatoes in chunks.
Marinade the potatoes in the garlic oil first then add the masala seasoning and coat well.
Stick it in the oven on 180c for 45 mins.

The Perfect Crispy Roasted Potatoes ???????? Ramadan Series: Episode 6:)
Recipe:
*I’m using a whole bag of potatoes, if you’re using less - lower the amount of each seasoning & adjust as you’d like)
- 1 bag Baby potatoes
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- fresh or dried parsley (amount is up to you)
- 1 tbsp oregano
- minced garlic (amount is up to you)
- dash of cayenne
- extra garlic powder (optional)
- Cut& wash your potatoes & add to a pot of water, add a hefty pinch of salt (optional), and boil until fork tender
- Once your potatoes are ready, toss together with your oil & seasonings and add them to a prepared baking sheet & top with kosher salt
- Bake at 400°f for 30 min, take out of the oven, toss , then put them back in for another 30 min
Top with parsley and more kosher salt if you’d like :)

Coriander 1tbsp
Corn flour 3tbsp
Boil Potatoes 3 minutes
Keep in the fridge for 12 hours
Fry for 6 minutes
Let cool for 30 minutes
Fry again 3 minutes

Homemade Baked Potato Chips
This is a very easy recipe for a healthier option to potato chips.
Ingredients:
3 medium red potatoes, peeled
salt and freshly ground black pepper
garlic, herbs, optional
1 or 2 tbsp oil
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 230 C (450 F). Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut the potatoes in 1/8-inch thick round slices.
2. In a pot of boiling water cook the potato slices for 3-5 minute. Drain well and combine with oil, salt, pepper and spices (garlic, oregano, basil, etc) in a large bowl.
3. Place potato slices on prepared baking sheet in one layer. Bake for about 15 minutes until crisp and golden brown. Gently remove the chips and place on a cooling rack or parchment paper; let them cool for few minutes and they are ready to serve.
