Serve : one
You will need ovenproof skillet/pan, that can put in the oven.
Preheat oven at 225°C.
1 large egg
1 tsp grated lemon zest
A pinch of salt
40 ml milk
4 tbsp flour
1 tsp vanilla sugar or vanilla extract
1 tbsp granulated sugar
2 tbsp butter/margarine
1 small/half large apple, thinly sliced
Powdered sugar for dusting
Directions :
- In a bowl, whisk egg, grated lemon zest and salt. Add milk, whisk
to combined.
- Add the flour, whisk. Add vanilla sugar and granulated sugar into the batter. Whisk well.
- In an ovenproof skillet (I use square skillet here), heat butter until melt. Cook apple slices until softened.
- Pour pancake batter over the apple in the pan, spread evenly to cover the pan.
- Transfer the pan into the oven, bake at 225°C for about 20 minutes.
- The pancake will puffy during the baking time.
- Remove from oven, slide pancake onto serving plate. Dust with powdered sugar (may use fruits and syrup).
- Eat immediately.
