1 c Water 1/4 c Apple juice 1 Tart apple -- diced 2/3 c Rolled oats 1 Dash cinnamon 1 c Skim milk Place water, juice and apples ina medium saucepan and bring to a boil. CINNAMON APPLE BAKED OATMEAL Save this recipe for more brain-healthy recipes and for evidence-based information on brain health!
Ingredients: 2-3 apples, chopped (honey crisp and Granny Smith) 2 cups unsweetened soy milk 1/4 cup almond butter 2 tbsp ground flax 1 tbsp cinnamon 1/2 cup monk fruit sweetener 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 cups rolled oats 1 tsp baking powder 1 cup chopped walnuts Add two scoops of plant-based protein powder for a high protein breakfast, if desired.
Bake at 350F for 45 minutes. Serve with unsweetened almond or soy yogurt (the apples are sweet enough and you don’t need more sweetness in your yogurt). Enjoy

SALTED CARAMEL APPLE STOVE-TOP OATS ???????????? (aka. comfort in a bowl)
in a pot: •1/2 cup water •1/2 apple diced •1 tsp vanilla •1 tsp cinnamon *Bring to a boil, lower temp and stir occasionally until no more water
add: •1/2 cup oats •1/2 cup water •1/2 cup milk •1 tbsp chia seeds
*stir + simmer until desired texture *add a scoop of protein powder (I used salted caramel flavour!!!) - if you don’t add protein powder you can add a tsp of sweetener to the apples at the beginning
top: •Granola •Peanut butter •Hemp hearts •Sea salt !!!!! •More apples! chocolate chips! Whatever your heart desires! ????❤️
