How To make Almond Cookies 3
4 c Flour
2 c Sugar
1 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
1 1/2 c Shortening
1 Egg; well beaten
2 ts Water
1 ts Almond extract
3/4 c Almonds, blanched; whole
Red food coloring
0:15
Sift dry ingredients, cut in shortening as for pie dough. Combine egg, water and extract. Add to dry ingredients. If dough is too crumbly, add a little more water. Divide into small balls. Flatten each ball to 1/4" thick. Press whole almond in center of half of the cookies. Dilute 2 drops of red coloring with 2 drops of water. Dip the end of the chopstick into the coloring and press into the center of the other half of the cookies. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes. These should be cream colored when done
not browned. :

5. Make balls of dough and place in the oven for 15 minutes at 180 degrees, and then another 10 minutes at 160 degrees.

3-INGREDIENT NO BAKE ALMOND BUTTER COOKIES
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup all natural almond butter (or any nut butter you like)
1/2 cup maple syrup
DIRECTIONS
Line a rimmed baking sheet with a silpat mat or coat with some cooking spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine almond butter and maple syrup and microwave for 20 seconds to soften. Give it a good stir and then add in you oats.
Mix until all of the oats are coated in the almond butter/maple syrup mixture.
Scoop a heaping tablespoon of the dough and shape in your hands until you have formed a cookie. Place on baking sheet and repeat until you have 18 cookies.
Pop in the fridge for 30 minutes to set up and then transfer to an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to 10 days. Enjoy!

Bake In Preheated Oven on 170 °c for 10 to 12 minutes.. Check the cookies when it's 10 minutes.. Almond flour gets brown very quickly..
