WATERMELON PUNCH
Ingredients
½ watermelon, cut in strips
1 lemon, sliced
10-12 mint leaves
1 tray ice-cubes
90 ml Vokda
150 ml Lemonade
1 teaspoon black salt
1 cup scooped watermelon
Method
1. In a juicer, add fresh watermelon and make watermelon juice.
2. Transfer the juice to jar.
3. In a big juice jar, add lemon slices and mint leaves and muddle together. Add ice-cubes, vodka, lemonade, black salt and watermelon juice. Mix well
4. Add scooped water melon, mix well.
5. Serve in watermelon cups.

Watermelon Punch Recipe:
Use the inside of the watermelon for the watermelon juice. We blended ours with an immersion blender, but you can use a juicer or blender.
1 cup of fresh lime juice
1.5 cups of vodka
1 bottle of rose wine
If you like a sweeter drink, or your watermelon is not sweet, you can add some simple syrup or a sweetener of your choice.
Mint for garnish

WATERMELON PUNCH **alcoholic /non alcoholic**
RECIPE BELOW :

SERVES 6
1/4 cup caster sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 bunch of mint leaves, fresh
8 cups of watermelon, chopped
300ml vodka (remove if making it mocktail)
750ml bottle of soda water
4 cups crushed ice
Combine sugar, juice and mint in bowl. Stir unti combined, crushing mint to extract the flavour. Stand for 10-15mins for sugar to dissolve.
Meanwhile, process watermelon in processor until it’s liquid form. Strain through a fine sieve into a large bowl, discarding seeds and pulp. Strain sugar mixture and add to watermelon punch. Add vodka ,mix well. Add soda water and remove the froth from the top.
Add ice at the bottom of the jar / glass and garnish with mint leaves.

Watermelon Punch Keg

Ingredients
One 20- to 25-pound seedless watermelon
One 750-milliliter bottle rose wine
1 1/2 cups orange vodka
Directions
Special equipment: an immersion blender or a drill with an adjustable chuck and beater from an electric hand mixer; a tap
Cut a thin slice from the bottom of the watermelon rind (but not into the flesh) so the watermelon will sit upright. With a sharp knife, carve out a circle in the top of the watermelon to make a lid, as you would when carving a jack-o'-lantern.
To prepare with an immersion blender: Set the watermelon in the sink (to avoid splashes). Remove the lid and insert an immersion blender into the flesh. Gently push and move the immersion blender down and around in the watermelon to puree the center. As more of the watermelon becomes pureed, move the blender to the sides to puree almost all of the flesh, leaving a thin wall of flesh lining the rind. Pour the pureed juice out of the watermelon; you should have between 6 and 7 cups.
To prepare with a drill: Fasten one beater from an electric hand mixer to the tip of a drill and tighten the chuck. Set the watermelon in the sink (to avoid splashes) and push the beater into the flesh. Gently push and move the beater down and around in the watermelon to puree the center. As more of the watermelon becomes pureed, move the beater to the sides to puree almost all of the flesh, leaving a thin wall of flesh lining the rind. Pour the pureed juice out of the watermelon, and strain, discarding any pulp and seeds; you should have between 6 and 7 cups of strained juice.
Insert a tap in the empty watermelon according to the package directions. Pour the watermelon juice, wine and vodka into the watermelon and top with the lid. Refrigerate until the watermelon and punch inside are well chilled, at least 2 hours.
