16:54 Quick tip if needed AFTER baking (IMMEDIATELY after)
For the Graham Cracker Crust:
• 1 1/2 cups graham crackers, ground up. I used a food processor. You may place the crackers into a Ziplok bag and use a rolling pin, keeping in mind that this crust works best when the crackers have been ground quite fine
• 7-8 Tablespoons of butter, melted
• 1/3 cup sugar
Preheat oven to 350 F (176 C). In a mixing bowl add the ground up graham crackers and sugar. Give it a good mix. Pour the butter over the cracker mix. stir well as shown. After mixing, squeeze some to check how well it holds. If too crumbly add in a little more melted butter and test again as shown.
Sometimes all of the butter isn't needed. It isn't about the exact amount of butter, it is more about the consistency of the mixture. You want it to hold up to whatever filling that you plan to add. Press into your pie plate as shown. Bake for 10 minutes. Allow to thoroughly cool before filling.

NOTES** Your mixture is just right if it holds together when you squeeze some together. If mixture is too crumbly add 1-2 more teaspoons of butter and remix. If overly soggy add an extra 2-3 teaspoons more of ground up graham cracker or vanilla wafer to the mix.
You can make either of these ahead 1-2 days, simply cover and store undisturbed into your refrigerator. This also freezes well for up to 6 weeks.

How to Make A Cookie Crumb Pie Crust
Making a cookie crumb pie crust is easier than you think but you need to make sure the crumbs are not overly soggy with butter or egg white. Generally this recipe can be used for graham cracker crumbs, teddy graham crumbs, oreo crumbs, and nilla wafer crumbs but keep in mind because each cookie is unique you may need more or less butter (usually less). Start by adding less butter then adding more if you need it.
