How To make Sweet Pinto Pie
1 Baked pie crust
crumb or regular 2 lg Onions; chopped
2 c Cooked AM Pinto Beans
:
(unseasoned), drained 1/2 c Water
-OR- unseasoned bean juice 2 tb Cinnamon
1 ts Nutmeg
1/4 ts Sea salt (optional)
2 tb Honey or molasses (optional)
Saute the onions in the oil over medium heat until very soft and clear. Watch carefully so they do not brown. Blend the cooked onions, beans, water, and seasonings until smooth. If more sweetness is desired, add the honey and blend. Spread in the baked pie crust, and bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350 F. 1 quart Water

1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Garlic Powder

Pinto Bean Pie - Best Christmas Dessert Ever
S1 E31 Pinto Bean Pie
So much I could say about this pie. The Christmas memories, the puzzled look on peoples faces when they hear what they had just tasted. More so I want you to give it a try, let me know how it turned out. Merry Christmas Y'all
15 oz mashed pinto beans. Plain. Not seasoned.
2 cups white sugar
4 eggs
2 sticks butter
1 cup cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup sweet flaked coconut
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup AP
1/2 cup chipped pecans
2 9” pie crusts. Regular depth
Bake at 350 for about 45 min. Till a toothpick comes out clean. And don’t fill the crusts all the way up. You’ll have about a half cup or so left over. Once done let cool on a wire rack and then chill in. Fridge to set.
