1/2 c Sugar
2/3 c Butter; softened
1 Egg
1/2 ts Nutmeg
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 ts Brandy extract
1/2 c Strawberries
Chop and drain Powdered sugar You must use real butter in this recipe. Heat oven to 350.
In large mixer bowl combine all ingredients except powdered sugar. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed (2-3 minutes). Shape rounded teaspoons of dough into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets. Bake 10-15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely; sprinkle with powdered sugar. YIELD: 3 1/2 dozen. N.Haughey -----

Strawberry cheesecake in a jar is a scrumptious no bake dessert which is refreshing and perfect for any party or casual gatherings.

Ingredients:
For base:
1 packet digestive biscuits - crushed
1/4 cup melted butter
Filing:
1/2 cup cream cheese
1/2 cup hung yogurt
1/2 cup condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 - 3 tbsp strawberry c, ,rush
1 cup whipped cream
Method:
- In a bowl, add the crushed biscuits. Add the melted butter to it and mix well until they are well blended with each other.
- The base is ready. Keep it aside.
To make cheesecake filling:
- In a bowl, add the cream cheese, hung yogurt, condensed milk and vanilla and blend for about a couple of minutes.
- Add the strawberry crush and blend well until its completely mixed.
- Add the whipped cream and mix well using a spatula.
To assemble:
- Add the biscuit base at the bottom.
- Then add the cheesecake filling using a piping bag and make the second layer.
- Add some chopped strawberry pieces over it.
- Repeat the three layers once more.
- Let this chill in the refrigerator for about 3-4 hours.
