1 1/2 lb Sirloin steak 2 lb Mushroom caps 6 T Butter 6 T Olive oil 1 ea Garlic clove, chopped 3 T Parsley, chopped Heat in skillet butter and oil. Add mushroom caps and saute' about 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook until tender. Sprinkle parsley and season to taste with salt and pepper. You may wish to add a dash of worcestershire sauce or sherry. Serve over steak.

Ingredients
1 pound mushrooms 6 tablespoons butter 1/4 cup chopped onion 2 teaspoons beef base (optional) 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional) 1 teaspoon black pepper 2 tablespoons flour 1 cup burgundy wine
Directions
Wash mushrooms in hot water. Dry off with a paper towel and slice the mushrooms. In a large skillet over medium heat melt the butter, then add the mushrooms. Season with salt and black pepper. Saute until the mushrooms have browned. Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and then cook the mushrooms for a minute or two.
Add wine, and stir, the sauce will thicken.

Pan seared porterhouse steak topped with creamy sautéed mushrooms
Garlic Butter Steak & Mushrooms #recipe
Garlic Butter Steak & Mushrooms
Ingredients 1 1/2 lbs steak (I used flap meat/skirt steak), sliced thin against the grain 4 tablespoons butter 8-10 oz mushrooms, sliced 1 onion, sliced 5 garlic cloves, minced 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup beef broth Soy sauce
Directions Season steak with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a pan over medium high heat and add half of the steak. Cook about 1 1/2 minutes per side (about 3 minutes total). Right before the steak has finished cooking, and a dash of soy sauce. Repeat with the second batch, remove and set aside. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter and add a little more oil to the pan and sauté mushrooms, onions and garlic. Season with salt, pepper and a dash of soy sauce and cook for 5 minutes over medium high heat. Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce and cook for 30 seconds. Return beef back to the pan along with the rest of the butter. Once butter has melted remove from heat.
Baked Steak and Mushrooms ~ Easy Cooking
In this easy cooking video, I cook a beef steak with mushrooms in my toaster oven. I used a boneless New York steak and about 8 oz of sliced white mushrooms. I seasoned the steak and mushrooms with kosher salt and Johnny's Seasoned Pepper. Then cooked them for 17 minutes in a 450 degree F oven. But products used in my easy cooking videos here.
