1 1-lb can cream-style corn 3/4 c Milk 1/3 c Shortening 2 Eggs; lightly beaten 1 c Cornmeal 1/2 ts Baking soda 1 ts Baking powder 1 ts Salt 4 oz Canned diced green chiles - drained 1 1/2 c Shredded cheddar cheese Combine corn, milk, shortening, eggs, cornmeal, soda, baking powder, salt, drained chiles and cheese and mix well. Pour into greased 9-inch square pan. Bake at 400F 45 minutes until golden. Serve hot.
