These cookies are made with five basic ingredients, and you can add food coloring to make them as festive or simple as you'd like. Spritz Cookies
• Program: Cookies
• Cook Temp: 170°C
• Cook Time: 15 mins
Ingredients:
For the dough:
• 125 gms butter, room temperature
• 2 nos eggs
• 120 gms sugar
• 250 gms wheat flour
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 3 tbsp finely ground nuts
• A pinch of salt
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
For topping:
• Dark Chocolate
• Desiccated coconut, pistachios, almonds
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven at 170°C.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine butter and sugar. Beat until the mixture is light and fluffy.
3. Next, add the eggs, ensuring each one is well incorporated. Stir in the vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, mix the wheat flour, baking powder, finely ground nuts, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, stirring well until a soft dough form.
5. Fill a cookie press with the dough and press out the cookie onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Bake the cookies at 170°C for 15 mins until they are lightly golden.
7. Allow the cookies to cool completely.
8. Once cooled, dip the tips till the edges of the cookies into melted chocolate and then into your choice of coconut, pistachios or almond.
9. Let the chocolate set before serving.

Old-Fashioned Crisp Buttery SPRITZ COOKIES pressed into turkey, pumpkin, Christmas tree, and snowman shapes!! Decorate with colored sugars or not!! Perfect SPRITZ COOKIES dough recipe below...
SPRITZ COOKIES
Wilton Cookie Press on Amazon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
1-1/2 cups (3 sticks) Butter, softened
1 cups Sugar
3-1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
2 tablespoons milk
Colored Sugars for decorating cookies
1. Beat together butter and sugar until well blended, about 3-4 minutes.
2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 30-40 seconds after each addition. Beat in vanilla and milk. Add dry ingredients. Beat until flour has mixed well with wet ingredients.
3. Add dough into cookie press with desired disc. No need to chill cookie dough. Press cookie shapes onto cookie sheet.
4. Add desired colored sugar(s) on top of each cookie, optional.
5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cookies are lightly golden around edges. Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring onto cooling rack to cool completely.
TIPS: Store in an airtight container up to 2 days or freeze up to 2 months.
