SHARING OUR DREAM WITH YOU
This channel is all about the adventures, hard work, and farm lifestyle chosen by two city kids who wanted live the dream of modern farming, while preserving the quality of life found in traditional home cooking and living off the land.
Nestled in the fertile, mountain valleys of Utah, Ballerina Farm is named after Hannah, a former Miss New York City and graduate of the Juilliard School of Dance. Daniel is a history major and now holds his MBA to guide the ever-growing business. The children are wild, hardworking, and homeschooled by their mother as they learn to farm, rodeo, dance, and grow barefoot and free.

Sourdough Discard Waffles Recipe! No Wait!
Learn how to make sourdough discard waffles with my easy recipe! If you have excess sourdough starter sitting around, don't throw it away! Transform it into some delicious waffles. I've got 2 methods for you: one that uses extra flour and buttermilk, and the other that uses ONLY sourdough discard for the base!
If your starter has gone quite a bit too long, I would recommend the first method. If your starter is a little more fresh, the second method will work wonderfully!
These sourdough waffles are NOT an overnight recipe. To get my overnight sourdough waffles recipe, watch this video:

SOURDOUGH pancakes & waffles • healthy family breakfast
My family looks forward to these pancakes/waffles every Saturday morning! The same recipe can be used to make pancakes on the griddle or waffles in the waffle iron. The recipe comes from Lisa @FarmhouseonBoone and has been in my recipe box for a long time. Making these pancakes keeps my sourdough starter happy and refreshed each week. I fed my starter with freshly milled wheat this week to give us some extra nutrition and satiety. Enjoy!
