WHAT IS THE MEDITERRANEAN DIET?
Supported by the Mayo Clinic, the Mediterranean diet is a way of eating based on the traditional cuisine of countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea. While there is no single definition of the Mediterranean diet, it is typically high in vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, nut and seeds, and olive oil.
The main components of Mediterranean diet include:
-Daily consumption of vegetables, fruits, whole grains and healthy fats
-Weekly intake of fish, poultry, beans and eggs
-Moderate portions of dairy products
-Limited intake of red meat
Other important elements of the Mediterranean diet are sharing meals with family and friends, enjoying a glass of red wine and being physically active. Coronary heart disease caused fewer deaths in Mediterranean countries, such as Greece and Italy, than in the U.S. and northern Europe. Subsequent studies found that the Mediterranean diet is associated with reduced risk factors for cardiovascular disease. The Mediterranean diet is one of the healthy eating plans recommended by the Dietary Guidelines for Americans to promote health and prevent chronic disease.

How To Make Macaroni And Cheese My Way
you will need-Macaroni .cheese,2 sticks of butter, 1/12 c of f;our, 1 c. of milk, 1 can of sweet milk, kosher salt, paprika, black pepper oil olive, grated cheese bags of cheese or block cheese grated.Boil macaroni in water add salt drain when done about 8-9 minutes. Take same pot add in sticks of butter let melt than add in flour mix until it turmns golden color this is our roux than add in 2 cans of cheese sauce 2 bags of chhese your sweet lik foloow by the 1 cup of milk. mix all ingridents well thanremove rom heat take baking dish spray it, layer macaroni than cheese mixture repeat process until done.Sprinkle chhese in between each layer than the final layer add in more cheese take butter about 4 tbsp and place in slice in all 4 cornerrs under the macaroni and hide than 1 slice in the center now sprinke with paprika and place in 350 degree oven until brown and bubbley and enjoy!!
How to make the most delicious Naan bread pizza ever | Leo Cooks Things
Welcome back gang. Today I'm going to show you my favorite new pizza hack. It's become my favorite way to eat pizza. This is how you do it.
Here's what you'll need:
-4-5 San Marzano tomatoes from a can
-2-3 naan breads from your favorite Indian resto
-1 ball of buffalo mozzarella
-1 tbsp parmegiano regiano
-Fresh basil
-Pinch of garlic powder
-Pinch of oregano
-1 tbsp of really good olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Toss your tomatoes in a bowl, along with the oregano, garlic powder, olive oil, salt and pepper. Massage and break down the tomatoes. Don't blend it, use your hands. I don't know why, but it makes it better. Once that's done, spoon it onto the naan bread, top with sliced buffalo mozzarella, parmegiano reginao, and fresh basil. Little drizzle of olive oil is also a good idea. Put it in a 400 degree oven for 10-15 minutes, then enjoy.
