Slow Cooker Pepper Steak with Onions ???????? {Better than takeout!}
SLOW COOKER PEPPER STEAK WITH ONIONS
--------------Click on SHOW MORE to see the FULL RECIPE--------------
This is my tried and true recipe for pepper steak! I make a concentrated sauce that goes into the slow cooker with beef, bell peppers and onion. It thickens into a velvety smooth gravy, perfect over rice.
PRINTABLE RECIPE AND NUTRITIONAL INFO:
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs. beef strips Look for beef cut into strips already or buy top sirloin and cut into 1/2 inch strips (round steak works well too).
1 green bell pepper sliced thick
1 red bell pepper sliced thick
1 white onion sliced
For the sauce:
1/2 cup water
2 beef bouillon cubes
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes (optional)
SLOW COOKER SIZE:
4-quart or larger
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a small microwavable bowl add the water and the beef bouillon cubes. Place in the microwave for 30 seconds, mix until dissolved. I use the back of a spoon or the tip of a whisk to break up the bouillon cubes. (If you don't have a microwave, boil your water on the stove-top).
Add the soy sauce, Worchestershire sauce, ginger, garlic powder, pepper, brown sugar and cornstarch to the bowl with the water and bouillon. Whisk until smooth. (Add the red pepper flakes if you desire). Pour this mixture into the slow cooker.
Add the beef, bell peppers and onions onto the sauce in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on LOW for 5 hours.

Take your steak to a whole new level!
Who doesn't love a juicy, slightly charred steak, served up with a mountain of chips (or saute potatoes if you're feeling posh) and some nice green veg!
It's one of my favourite weekend dinners, and it's made even better with the addition of one of these delicious sauces (ok, one is a garlic butter, but that works fab too!).
Most of these sauces can be made while your steak is resting, so your steak will be perfectly rested and ready to serve when that sauce is ready.

Grilled Sirloin Steak Kabobs | I Heart Recipes
Hey friends! I’m making Grilled Sirloin Steak, Onion and Sweet Peppers Kabobs:
Since these are SIRLOIN kabobs, of course, sirloin is needed. Make sure you remove almost all of the excess fat. The fat will add flavor and keep the steak juicy. I used a variety of sweet bell peppers: orange, red, yellow, and green. I used wooden skewer sticks and before I assembled the kabobs, I soaked the sticks for 30 minutes. Soaking the wooden sticks prevents the sticks from burning while grilling. Begin alternating the peppers, onions and cubes of steak onto the skewers. You can sear the outsides of the steak first, and then grill until all the way cooked. These Grilled Sirloin Steak, Onion and Sweet Pepper Kabobs are super colorful and full of flavor!

Episode 027 - Top Sirloin Steak and Grilled Bell Peppers
This week I'm cooking some Top Sirloin Steak with Grilled Bell Peppers. I seasoned the steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder then I used Lawry's Garlic Pepper seasoning for the bell peppers. I got the steak to just above medium rare to make both people eating happy, and the bell peppers were slightly softened with a light char on them.
