How To make Sausage &Amp; Macaroni Casserole
1 lb Sausage meat
1 Onion; chopped
1/4 ts Pepper
1 Garlic clove; chopped
3 c Macaroni; cooked
1 c Mushrooms; drained
1 c Cottage cheese
1/4 ts Oregano
1/4 c Spaghetti sauce
1/4 ts Basil
1/4 ts Garlic powder
1/4 ts Dry mustard
Breadcrumbs (opt) Grated cheese Preheat oven to 350F. Saute sausage meat till light brown. Drain fat, separate meat with fork, set aside. Saute onion, garlic & mushrooms. Add sausage meat, spices. Stir in sauce. Add macaroni & stir. Arrange alternate layers of macaroni-meat mixture and cottage cheese; ending with meat. Top with bread crumbs & cheese if desired. Bake at 350F for 25-30 min. SERVES:4 -----

One Pot Sausage and Pasta Recipe/ Quick dinners
One pot wonders, dishes to make you happy with less cleaning up. This one pot sausage and pasta recipe is just that all in one pot, easy to make and you end up with a delicious meal within no time. I used kielbasa sausage but any favourite sausage of yours will still work great. Also I added cheese at the end but that's optional if you don't want to, just makes it more creamy and a tad bit cheesy. That's it, I hope you enjoyed this recipe and get to try it out sometime. RECIPE:
-1 tbs olive oil
- 700gms of kielbasa
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- A thumb of ginger
- 1/2 a teaspoon each for paprika, cumin and coriander
- 2 tomatoes
- Tsp tomato paste

- Chicken stock to cover

CREAMY ZESTY BAKED ITALIAN SAUSAGE PASTA CASSEROLE RECIPE
An easy pasta casserole with Italian sausage in a creamy cheesy zesty sauce. A great weekday meal that will feed a hungry family. RECIPE BELOW. Enjoy.
CREAMY ZESTY ITALIAN SAUSAGE PASTA CASSEROLE RECIPE
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound of semi cooked pasta - about 7 minutes cooking
*save about 1 cup of pasta water
1 pound Italian turkey sausage - casing removed
1 medium diced onion
1 medium diced red or green bell pepper
1 diced seeded jalapeno pepper - optional
1 Tbsp. minced garlic
4 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. flour
3 cups whole milk
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded cheese for top
1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 can Rotelle or diced tomatoes
1 Tbsp. Italian seasonings
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes - optional
salt and black pepper
2-3 Tbsp. olive oil
In a skillet on medium heat add olive oil and sausage.
Chop and brown.
Add onions, bell peppers, jalapeno (optional), salt and black pepper.
Cook and stir 3 minutes.
Add minced garlic. Cook and stir for 30 seconds and remove from heat.
In a sauce pan on low medium heat add butter and flour. Stir and cook for
one minute.
Add milk and turn heat up to medium high. Stir and cook for several minutes
until the sauce is thickened.
Add cheese and stir until incorporated.
Add rotelle and stir to combine.
Add Italian seasonings and red pepper flakes. Taste for salt and pepper.
Stir to combine.
Add sausage mixture into sauce and stir.
Add pasta and stir.
Pour into lightly greased baking pan and level out.
Bake covered at 375 degrees Farenheit for 25 minutes.
Remove from oven and uncover. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake an additional 5 minutes uncovered or until the cheese melts.
Serve and enjoy.

Ingredients for boiling pasta:
Water as required
Salt 1 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Penne pasta 1 ½ cups
Ingredients for Red Sauce:
Oil 2-3 tbsp
Garlic (chopped) 1 tbsp
Onion (finely chopped) 1/2 cup
Tomato puree 1 cup
Tomato paste 1 tbsp
K&N’s Stok 1 cube
Salt 1/2 tsp / to taste
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Basil leaves (chopped) 4-6
K&N’s Breakfast Sausage 720 g
Oregano 1/2 tbsp
Penne pasta (boiled)
Cheese (mozzarella & Cheddar) 2 cups
Basil leaves (for garnishing) as required
Directions for Pasta Boiling:
1. In a pot heat water and bring it to boil. add salt, oil, pasta and boil pasta until 80% done. Strain and set aside.
Directions for Red Sauce Preparation:
2. In another pot, heat oil and saute garlic, onion until onion gets soft and translucent.
3. Add tomato pasta, tomato puree and mix well.
4. Now add salt, black pepper, red chili flakes, sugar, lemon juice, oregano, basil leaves, K&N’s Stok and cook for 4-5 minutes on medium flame.
5. Take K&N’s Breakfast Sausage, cut into thick slices and set aside.
6. Add boiled pasta, sliced K&N’s Breakfast Sausages into prepared gravy and toss on high flame for 1-2 minutes.
7. Transfer half of the sausage pasta into baking tray, top with cheese, transfer the remaining half of sausage pasta, and top it with cheese, basil leaves.
8. Bake in oven for 15 minutes at 180°C or until cheese melts.
9. Garnish with Basil leaves and Your sausage pasta casserole is ready to serve.
Preparation time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 40 mins
Serving: 4
