tip 1)나무결과 나뭇잎의 입체적인 표현을 위해서 머랭의 뿔이 뾰족하게 설 수 있도록 가능한 단단하게 만들어 주시면 입체적인 리스를 만드실 수 있어요. 머랭이 단단하려면 볼의 크기가 흰자의 양에비해 너무 큰건 좋지 않으니 양이 적을수록 작은 볼을 사용해주세요. 2)짤주머니에 공기가 들어가면 짤 때 예쁘게 나오지 않을수가 있어서 꾹꾹 눌러주며 넣어주세요. 3)파이핑을 마무리할땐 손에 힘을빼고 원을 그리듯 마무리 해주세요. 4) 머랭쿠키가 깨지는 이유중 높은 온도가 가장 큰 영향을 줍니다. 쿠키가 깨졌다면 온도조절을 해보세요. 그 외 짤주머니를 너무 많이 눌러 머랭이 꺼진 경우도 그럴 수 있으니 양이 많을때는 여러개로 나눠 담아 파이핑해주세요

1)It is good to whisk egg whites until stiff peaks for making three - dimensional figures. Small bowl can help you make stiff peaks meringue. 2)The main reason of cracks is high temperature. If your cookies have cracks you should control temperature. For me, 70-80℃ is good. 3)And don't press your piping bag too much. It also can make cracks. 4)Whenever you finish piping, don’t press piping bag and turn your hand like drawing a small circle.

Santa Claus Cookies
These Santa cookies are easy to make and fun to decorate.
1 1/4 cups butter 1/2 white granulated sugar 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla 1 -1 1/2 tsp salt (less salt if you use salted butter) 3 cups flour
Cream together the butter and the sugar, beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in flour in two-three additions. Bring dough together into a ball and refrigerate for 30 minutes or so. Roll out dough to 1/4 thickness. Cut out triangles. Bake 8-10 minutes until edges are light brown. Cool and decorate as desired.
