The Best Fudgy Brownies Ever! • Tasty
Super chocolatey, chewy, and fudgy.
Here is what you'll need!
The Best Fudgy Brownies
Servings: 9
INGREDIENTS
8 ounces good-quality chocolate
¾ cup butter, melted
1¼ cups sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
¾ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C.
Chop the chocolate into chunks. Melt half, then save the other half for later.
Mix the butter and the sugar, then beat in the eggs and vanilla for 1-2 minutes until the mixture has become fluffy and light in color.
Whisk in the reserved melted chocolate (make sure the chocolate is not too hot or else the eggs will cook), then sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, being careful not to overmix as this will cause the brownies to be more cake-like in texture.
Fold in the chocolate chunks, then transfer the batter into a parchment paper-lined square baking dish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, depending on how fudgy you like your brownies, then cool completely.
Slice, then serve with a nice cold glass of milk!

For the full recipe:
We are sharing this incredible DARK CHOCOLATE BROWNIE RECIPE from TO-GO CATERING in Toronto. Liza created this scrumptious sweet treat - thanks for sharing!
I can’t say too much about the recipe since I’ve left this one to the experts. There is one optional ingredient: nuts. I asked Liza about including them, and she said you can if you wish, suggesting a cup of chopped pecans or walnuts. I couldn’t decide between the two, so I prepared them with half a cup of each.
I will tell you this - we were halfway through making the recipe and shooting the video when I started thinking, “Oh my gosh, this is totally fabulous! I’m going to make them again next weekend.” All that before I’d even baked them! Just goes to show, every great treat begins with a stellar recipe.
Now, if you'd like to serve this treat in a more decadent fashion, why not prepare our HOMEMADE VANILLA ICE CREAM and then add a little scoop right before you serve. A hot chocolate or caramel sauce would also work perfectly with this - just saying!
Richly flavoured, chocolatey and wonderfully dense, give the DARK CHOCOLATE BROWNIES a try. Oh, such lovely treats!

4 Tablespoons cocoa
2 Cups granulated sugar
4 eggs ( room temperature)
1 cup All Purpose -White Lily flour
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup Priesters Pecans
Preheat oven to -350 degrees
Grease and flour a 9x13 class. dish
In a saucepan melt butter and shortening
Add cocoa and stir well with a whisk
Add sugar and stir well.
Turn off the burner and let the mixture cool for about 5 minutes
Add one egg at a time and stir after each one.
Add flour -stir with a whisk
Add vanilla- stir
Add pecan pieces
Put batter into a casserole dish and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
I baked mine 40. But remember all ovens cook differently.
Just check it with a toothpick at 35 minutes to see if it needs to cook longer.
When the children come home from school they will be so happy to have a big brownie with cold milk in a tin cup.
Daddy would be excited too. Make them happy.

At its most basic, cooking means applying heat to food. Whether the food is baked, fried, sautéed, boiled, or grilled, it's all cooking.
People still cook some foods over an open flame, in addition to using tools like microwaves toasters, and stovetops.

I finally mastered FUDGY BROWNIES! I won't use another brownie recipe again
RECIPE:
SHOP:
If you're looking for an indulgent, fudgy brownie that is extremely flavorful and not cloyingly sweet, this recipe is it! Literally one of the best brownies I've ever had! With that beautiful shiny crinkled top (which took me a while to figure out ????), and gooey, rich interior, this will be your new favourite brownie recipe!
INGREDIENTS:
- ¾ cup (105 g) dark chocolate - I use 50% dark chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate chips okay too
- ¾ cup (90 g) flour - regular, all purpose
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter - room temperature or melted
- ¼ cup (53 g) unflavored vegetable oil - I use canola
- 1 cup (200 g) white sugar - granulated
- ½ cup (100 g) soft brown sugar - packed, see note 1 on blog
- ⅔ cup (75 g) cocoa powder - unsweetened
- 1 tsp coffee powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence/extract
- 2 large eggs - room temperature
NOTE: In the video I mention 1/2 a cup or 100g of butter, but it should be 113g of butter as stated in the ingredients list above :)
Bake at 160 °C (320°F) with the fan on for 22-25 minutes depending on how fudgy you want your brownies to be (I recommend 22 minutes). If your oven doesn't have a fan option, then you will need to increase the baking temperature to 175°C (347°F). Once done, poke a toothpick into the center and it should come out dirty.
