How To make Prosciutto Di Parms with Fig Tartletts
Pastry: 3 cups flour
12 tablespoons sweet unsalted butter, melted
and liquid
1/4 cup sugar
2 extra large eggs
12 figs, ripe
8 ounces Prosciutto di Parma :
sliced paper thin
1 teaspoon fennel seed
2 ounces extra virgin olive oil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Butter a baking dish and set aside.
On a pasta board, make a mound out of flour and make well in center, just like making fresh pasta. Place sugar, eggs and melted butter into well, using a fork, mix ingredients just like making fresh pasta. Bring dough together and knead one minute until a medium ball is formed. Divide in 4 pieces and roll each into balls. Refrigerate 15 minutes to allow to rest. Meanwhile, cut figs into halves. Remove pastry from refrigerator and roll each piece into a 4 to 5-inch circle, about 1/4-inch thick. Arrange cut fruit cut side up onto each round and bake at 400 F for about 20 to 22 minutes. Remove tarts from oven, lay 2 thin slices of Prosciutto over each, sprinkle with fennel seeds and extra virgin olive oil and serve.

These delicious and gorgeous looking canapés are perfect for big gatherings or even as appetisers/starters for smal dinner parties.
I often use Baguettes, slice & toast them over the grill for couple of minutes with a drizzle of olive oil. But feel free to use your choice of bread! I also used brown sugar which u can replace with caster sugar.
and If you are a vegetarian, leave the Prosciuttos out and only use the blue cheese.
Ingredients for 12 canapés:
For Chutney:
-3 Figs
-1tbps Sugar
-1 tsp Cinnamon
-1/4 tsp Mild curry powder
-1 tbsp Sherry Vinegar
-1/2 red onion
-20g Butter
-1 tbsp sugar

-Bread
-1 pack of Blue cheese (I used Gorgonzola)
-Tarragon
-Parmaham/Prosciutto

این فینگر فودهای انجیر و بلوچیز ( پنیر کپکی آبی) را من خیلی دوست دارم، چون همخوشمزه وهم راحت درست میشوند. هم برای مهمانی های بزرگ و هم در اشل بزرگتر به عنوان پیش غذا در مهمانی های دورهمی میتوان سرو کرد .
من معمولا از نان باگت که نازک برش خورده استفاده میکنم و برای مدت ۲/۳ دقیقه هر طرف آنرا با کمیروغن زیتون گریل میکنم. همچنین مثل من میتوانید از شکر قهوه ای و یا سفید استفاده کنید.
اگر هم گیاهخوار هستید نیازی به «پاراماهم» نیست ، معرفی جایگزین پارماهم در ایران بسیار سخت است ولی شاید از ورقه های بسیار نازک کالباسی که اصلا سیر نداشته باشد بتوان استفاده کرد .
مواد لازم برای۱۰- ۱۲ فینگرفود:
برای چاتنی:
- ۳ عدد انجیر تازه
-۱ ق/غ شکر
-۱ ق/چ دارچین
-۱/۴ ق/چ پودر کاری (غیر تند)
-1 ق/چ سرکه سفید
-۱/۲ پیاز قرمز
-۲۰ گرم کره
-۱ ق/غ شکر

-یکبسته پنیر آبی (بلوچیز)

I love a request, especially from my bestie! So here’s the first of a few recipes using fresh figs! Let me know if you have any recipe requests. I loved this challenge! ????
The recipe below is exactly how i made it, but next time, I would add thinly sliced red onions on top of the lettuce. Yum!
Ham and Fig Sandwich
Baguette or loaf of bread
Butter (salted)
6-8 ripe figs
Black forest ham (or bacon/prosciutto)
Chèvre (or brie would also be good)
Honey
Lettuce
Cut your baguette in half and butter one side. Top it with ham. I used a smoked black forest ham, but use what you have! Top the ham with sliced figs. Slice large ones in multiple pieces and slice smaller figs in half. Slice goat cheese into rounds or if you’re using a spread, spread it onto the other side of the baguette. Drizzle figs with honey. Broil in the oven on 350 F for 10 minutes. Add lettuce and put sandwich together. Enjoy!
