Homemade #PIMENTO CHEESE# & GRILLED PIMENTO CHEESE SANDWHICH
PIMENTO CHEESE
1 pound or 16 ounces shredded SHARP CHEDDAR CHEESE
8 ounce block CREAM CHEESE, softened
4 ounce jar diced PIMENTOS, drained
1/2 to 3/4 cup MAYO
1 tsp to 1 tbsp grated Onion
Sprinkle of SMOKED PAPRIKA to taste
fresh ground BLACK PEPPER to taste
Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix with an electric mixer until as creamy as you like. I like mine to have lots of texture. Enjoy with pretzels, celery sticks or your favorite cracker. Make a toasted grilled pimento cheese sandwhich for a nice treat. Put it on burgers to melt for your cheese. Put inside jalapeno halves and wrap in bacon to make jalapeno poppers.

No, today I am tackling the Master Pimento Cheese Sandwich. Its history is, well, storied. 2-3 cups grated cheese

Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups extra sharp cheddar, grated
- 1 cup sharp cheddar, grated
- 8oz cream cheese, soften
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 4oz pimento, drained & diced
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1tsp red wine vinegar
- 3 dashes hot sauce
- 2 slices bread, the good kind
- butter, soften
Directions:
- Add all ingredients (EXCEPT FOR BREAD & BUTTER!) to a mixing bowl. Using an electric mixer, mix all the ingredients until soft and creamy. Set aside.
- Turn flat top on to medium high heat. If you don't have a flat top, place a pan on stove over medium high heat. Butter one side of each slice of bread. Generously add the pimento cheese spread to the unbuttered side of the bread and spread evenly. Place sandwich onto pan or flat top and cook on each side until golden brown and cheese spread has melted (roughly 2 minutes).

Tom’s Homemade Pimento Cheese
8 oz. cream cheese, softened to room temperature
12 oz. shredded mild cheddar cheese, softened to room temperature
scant 1/2 cup mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1-2 Tablespoons pickle juice
1/2 cup sweet pickle relish ( OR chopped Bread and Butter Pickles)
4 oz. jar pimentos
With an electric mixer, cream together the first seven ingredients. Don’t over mix.
Stir in the pimentos

Best Pimento Cheese Recipe is EASY to make. I made this Pimento Cheese with Bacon because we all know Bacon makes everything taste better even Pimento Cheese. I enjoy this EASY Pimento Cheese Recipe on a HOT summer day when I want a snack in-between sips of cold beer. Rather than a cracker I find Pimento cheese on Garlic Bread is the best! The nice crispy edges of garlic bread is great with the he soft spreadable Pimento Cheese with Bacon.
Easy Pimento Cheese Recipe with Bacon is very easy to make. It will last for up to a week in your fridge. I do like to serve it with a little chill on it as I think cheese just tastes best chilled. I prefer extra sharp cheddar cheese but make sure to grate your own don't use the bag Extra sharp cheese. I go about 2 Pounds of Cheese the about 5 ounces of pimento peppers drained and minced, I then add enough Mayo to get the consistency Im looking for which is a nice spreadable pimento cheese. I then give a pinch of cayenne more if you like it spicy and some salt and pepper to taste and then of course a couple of strips of bacon with GQue rub. If you have not tried GQue BBQ rub on bacon you have to ASAP. Thats all there is to it! An Easy Pimento Cheese Recipe with Bacon!
