16 oz Philly Cream Cheese, or -Light Neufchatel Cheese, -softened 1/2 c Sugar 1/2 ts Vanilla 2 Eggs 1 Graham cracker crumb crust -(6 oz or 9"), prepared 2 c Sliced assorted fresh fruit Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs; mix until blended. Pour into crust. Bake at 350^, 40 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. Top with fruit. 8-10 servings. - 52 vanilla wafers, finely crushed (about 2 cups) - 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted - 4 eggs, divided - 4 pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened - 1-3/4 cups sugar, divided - 3 Tbsp. flour - 1 Tbsp. zest and 1/3 cup juice from 2 lemons, divided - 1/2 tsp. vanilla - 2 Tbsp. cornstarch - 1/2 cup water
HOW TO MAKE THE BEST TASTING NEW YORK STYLE CHEESECAKE
YOU WILL NEED:
1). 8 ounce packs of Philly cream cheese (only 2 for small crusts)
2) Eggs (1 egg for each pack of cream cheese)
3). 1/3 cup for each cream cheese package
4). 1 tablespoons rum ( I only use MALIBU: Coconut)
5). 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
STEPS
1) Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 2) In a food processor combine cream cheese with other ingredients and blend until it becomes white smooth paste. Pour into crust.
3) Reduce heat to 325 - and bake for 50 minutes, or until center of cake is barely firm to the touch.
4) Remove from the oven. Let cool on stove and then place in fridge for 2 or more hours.
5) Add a fruit topping (optional) SERVE and ENJOY
This whole process should take less than 10 minutes to prepare, 1 hour to bake and 2 hours to cool.
