2 c All purpose flour
2 c Sugar
1/2 lb Butter
2 ts Unsweetened cocoa
1 c Pepsi cola
1/2 c Buttermilk
2 Eggs, beaten
1 t Baking soda
1 t Vanilla extract
1 1/2 c Miniature marshmallows
1 Peanut butter frosting -- rec

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 x 2" pan. Combine flour and sugar in a large bowl. Melt butter. Add cocoa and Pepsi Cola. Pour over flour mixture. Stir until well blended. Add buttermilk, beaten eggs, soda and vanilla. Stir in marshmallows. Mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 40 minutes. Remove from oven and frost while still warm with Peanut Butter Frosting. Makes 20 - 2 x 3" servings.

I practically live off of diet coke but I wouldn't have thought to try it in a chocolate cake.. until now! This chocolate cola cake will totally take you by surprise ????????

Cherry Cola chocolate poke cake Delicious! no eggs!

Ingredients:
For the cake :
In a bowl combine:1 box chocolate cake mix with 12 oz Cherry flavored Cola
pour into (2 8x8 or 9x13) greased and floured pan (I used cocoa powder instead of flour).
Bake at 350* F (180*C) for approx. 20-25 minutes.
For the filling:
combine in a food processor one can (210z) of cherry pie filling and one can (14OZ) of Sweetened Condensed milk.
When the cake is done baking... let cool. Using a straw poke holes in the cake large enough to allow the filling to flow into.
Pour the Filling on top of the cooked cake.
Freeze for at least 2 hours. It is easier to frost the cake when it is frozen.
Frosting:
Combine in a bowl, one pkg (3.4 OZ) instant vanilla pudding, 1 Cup Milk. stir . fold in 1 8oz Whipped topping.
Frost the cake
Store in refrigerator.
