Peach Fritters
Written recipe:
Everybody’s craved and enjoyed the classic apple fritter, but would you believe us if we told you there was an even better, sister-fruit fritter that blew aforementioned apple fritter out of the water?? It’s true! We wanted something a little more seasonally appropriate, in order to make use of all the peaches we’ve been bringing home, so we decided to make a peach version. Let us tell you, this dessert is amazing. It’s not too sweet (thank you, cinnamon, for added some depth of flavor), and has the slightest bite to it, once you bite into a piece of peach…in short, these bad boys are perfection! Whether you make these for a decadent breakfast or as dessert after a light summer dinner, you can’t go wrong.

HOMEMADE PEACH FRITTERS A SWEET TREAT OF DELICIOUS GOODNESS
Homemade peach fritters a sweet treat of delicious goodness is both satisfying and easy to make. Homemade fritters can be easily made from pancake mix, you can utilize traditional apples to make these same fritters. However, Peach fritters are a nice switch off from the traditional Apple fritters. I came to know about Peach fritters when I visited family in Georgia. I was introduced not only to Peach fritters while there but to Peach ice cream as well talk about good eating. I've been hooked on Peach fritters ever since, that was some years ago now. Peach fritters can be air fried, stove top fried as I've done what ever makes you feel the most comfortable. Homemade peach fritters don't necessarily require fresh peaches use what you have. In my case I utilized canned peaches to make my fritters come to life and boy are they great, tasty, and full of flavor. Peach fritter, fried peach pie whatever you'd like to call it, as you can see it's an easy at home dessert that you can make.

Homemade Deep Fried Peach FRITTERS
Summer is coming to an end and soon we will be welcoming fall. What a better way to say goodbye to summer than with peach picking and a peachy dessert. On this episode, we're frying up some peach fritters! We were lucky enough to catch the last day of the U-pick season at Fisher's Orchard in Greer, South Carolina. We headed out, filled our basket and brought back the juiciest peaches.
We always like to try new things out in the Crazy Delicious kitchen so we decided that making peach fritters would be a fun recipe to try our hands at. After mixing the dry ingredients together, we added milk, eggs and butter to make our batter. We cut our peaches into chunks and added them in. Then, we fried these bad boys up to golden brown perfection. The powdered sugar glaze was the icing on the cake (or fritters in this recipe!) Bite into one and you can taste summer and fall all in one!
These are best served warm but they make great leftovers as well. We had plenty left over for breakfast the next day and even some to give to friends. So instead of rushing into fall we hope you'll hold onto to summer a little longer with this quick, easy and delicious recipe. We encourage you to support local businesses, buy from farmers markets and local shops while you still can during the warmer days. Thanks for watching!
