How To make Pasta with Mizithra
1/2 c Olive oil
4 x Garlic cloves, chopped fine
1 lb Dry pasta, cooked/drained
1/2 c Parmesan, freshly grated
1/2 c Mizithra cheese,fresh grated
Salt and pepper to taste 1/4 c Parsley, chopped for garnish
Bring the water for the pasta to boil and prepare everything else. It's important to never overcook pasta. Heat the olive oil in a small frying pan and add the chopped garlic. Saute for just a moment and set aside. Boil the pasta until just barely tender. Drain and toss with all ingredients. Serve as a side dish in the place of another starch.

Old Spaghetti Factory copycat Mizithra Pasta
This is my rendition of the old spaghetti factories absolutely amazing mizithera pasta. It's basically any type of sausage and bacon in a brown butter sauce with mizithera cheese on top! So good.
Basically you want to cut up your meat, (I used thick bacon and a fancy chicken sausage because thats what I had on hand, but I would recommend just normal sausage for beginners.)
Fry up the bacon, turn the heat down, only keep about half the bacon fat and fry up the sausage. Now they claim they brown the butter for like 8 hours. I have no idea what they are doing, maybe using those flameless candles to heat it, but my stick browned in about 30 minutes. Then you add two table spoons of minced garlic and let that cook a bit, then your rosemary and basil. (Personally I love garlic, basil and rosemary, so I always add a bit extra) Drop your noodles at about this point, I used fresh noodles so they cook in two minutes and then put them straight into the sauce and mix that up. Once you have the noodles on a plate you can top it with whatever toppings you want! Sausage, Bacon, the Mizithra cheese and partisan. Enjoy!

You can make the old Spaghetti Factory Browned Butter and Mizithra cheese. It is a super easy dish to make. You can make this recipe in the time that it takes to cook the pasta.

Here is the recipe:
16 ounces pasta
1 cup butter
1/2 cup mizithra cheese, grated
1/2 cup Romano cheese, grated
Parsley for garnish
Directions
Cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Do not rinse.
While the pasta is cooking brown the butter by placing into a saucepan over medium heat. As the butter melts, it will begin to foam. Remove the foam with a spoon. Cook the butter until it browns.
To prepare the pasta, pour pasta into a bowl. Pour the browned butter over the pasta, and then add the two kinds of cheese. Toss pasta until it is well coated. Serve immediately.
