How To make Party Meat Ball Appetizers
MEAT BALLS:
1 1/2 lb Ground beef
1/2 c Quaker Oats, uncooked
-- (quick or old-fashioned) 1 tb Chopped parsley
1/2 ts Salt
1/8 ts Pepper
1/2 c Parmesan cheese
2 Eggs; beaten
SAUCE:
1 Garlic clove; minced
1 lb Canned tomatoes
6 oz Tomato paste
1 ts Salt
1/8 ts Pepper
1/2 ts Oregano
1/4 ts Basil
For meat balls, combine all ingredients thoroughly. Shape to form small meat balls, using about 1 tablespoon for each. Brown in small amount of shortening in large skillet, turning frequently until browned on all sides. For sauce, combine all ingredients. Pour over browned meat balls; simmer about 30 minutes. In this video, we use a standard muffin tin to make individual servings of spaghetti and meatballs. We first cook the pasta and then mix it together with grated Parmesan cheese to create nest-like cups. Nestle in pasta sauce and meatballs inside and send them into the oven, with an extra sprinkle of cheese.

Juicy flavour-packed meatballs in that classic rich and creamy Swedish meatball sauce.
It makes such a great comforting dinner served with mashed potato and of course some lingonberry jam (although I've got some other suggestions if you can't find it).

Swedish Meatballs Ingredients:
Meatballs:
500 g (1lb)beef mince - ideally 20% fat
250 g (1/2 lb)pork mince
1 onion - finely chopped
1 clove of garlic - minced
4 tbsp panko breadcrumbs
1 medium egg
5 tbsp (75ml) full-fat milk
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp white pepper
¼ tsp allspice
2 tbsp vegetable or olive oil
Sauce:
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 tbsp plain - all-purpose flour
180 ml (3/4 cup) beef stock
120 ml (1/2 cup) vegetable stock
120 ml (1/2 cup) double (heavy) cream
2 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
¼ tsp salt
To Serve:
Finely chopped fresh parsley
Creamy mashed potato
Lingonberry jam - or redcurrant jelly
Green veg – such as broccoli or green beans

1lb 80/20 ground beef
1lb ground pork
1/2 cup diced parsley
1 small onion grated
5.2oz Boursin Garlic & Herbs Cheese
2 tbsp sour cream
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
2 eggs
3 cups bread crumbs
salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, hamburger seasoning
Sauce:
1 cup bbq sauce
1/4 cup jelly/preserves
2 tbsp brown sugar
2-3 tbsp honey
Directions:
Chop parsley and grate onion in box grater. Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl as seen in the video (leaving your egg and bread crumbs for the end). Once all ingredients are mixed well, add eggs and bread crumbs and fold until meatloaf takes shape and comes together. Roll into 1-2 oz balls. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray and place meatballs on it and place in a 400 degree oven for 15-20 minutes or until browned and 160 degrees internal temp. Make sauce by warming bbq sauce and jelly together whisking constantly. Bring to a gentle simmer and add brown sugar and honey. Adjust flavor to your preference. Toss meatballs in sauce and serve or place in crockpot to keep warm.

One slice of sandwich bread (Italian or white bread)
¼ cup whole milk
16 ounces 85/15 ground beef
8 ounces ground pork
¼ cup yellow onion, grated and squeezed with paper towel to remove excess water
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 egg
½ cup panko breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon dried parsley
½ teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
INGREDIENTS FOR SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALL SAUCE:
⅔ cup ketchup
1 clove garlic, minced
⅓ cup brown sugar, packed
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon cornstarch with 1 tablespoon water, whisked together to create a slurry
