chopped fine 1 tablespoon Ketchup 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt 1 teaspoon Prepared horseradish 1 teaspoon Sugar 1 teaspoon Allspice -- ground 1 teaspoon Dill weed Additional ketchup In lge. bowl, combine first 12 ingreds.; mix well. Press into 8 x 1 x 2" loaf pan. Bake at 350~ for 1 hr. Drizzle top of loaf with ketchup; bake 15 min. more or until no pink remains. Source: Taste of Home Dec/Jan '95

Make the easiest, best meatloaf you'll ever taste! Easy, economical, and delicious. Enjoy!
Ingredients: 1.5 lbs lean ground beef 1 package of Lipton's onion soup mix 2 large eggs 1.5 C panko crumbs (Mom used Progresso plain bread crumbs) 1 C diced green bell pepper, seeds and ribs removed.
1 15-oz can of tomato sauce (approximately 2 Cups)
Mix first 5 ingredients together. Place in a pre-greased bread pan. Cover, bake at 350° F for about an hour. Using an instant read thermometer, make sure meat reaches 135° F. Upon reaching the temperature, pour tomato sauce over the top, cover with the foil, and cook about 20 minutes more.
This is best served over mashed potatoes and some green beans on the side. Boxed spuds were always OK for mom (and us!) when she wanted to get a nice meal on the table quickly.
We hope you try this. It's also EXCELLENT the next day, reheated, cold, or on a sandwich.
