Whiskey Molasses BBQ
You can't go wrong with whiskey and BBQ. This recipe combines both of them into a delicious and easy slider recipe that's perfect for entertaining friends and family. The best part? It only takes a few minutes of prep work.
This recipe uses an economical bottom round roast. However, you can use a chuck roast, top round, shoulder roast, or any other cut of beef that works great in the slow cooker.

One of our favorite late night treats is a glass of bourbon and a ginger molasses spiced cookie. I thought it would be fun to take these flavors and turn them into a rib recipe.
Georgina and my favorite ribs always are very sweet, with an interesting spice profile and a hint of smoke, so I thought this mash-up would fit perfectly.
I #choosechairmans for this recipe because the high quality ribs have the perfect amount of marbling for a super tender and meaty final product

Hello and welcome back to In the Kitchen with Matt, I am your host Matt Taylor. This next grilling video, we are going to make, a Bobby Flay recipe, it is honey mustard pork medallions on the grill, mmm yummy. It is really easy to do, let’s get started. Alright for the honey mustard glazed pork medallions, first what you want to do is get a nice pork tenderloin, so I have one right here, and now what we are going to do is we are going to take a knife and we are going to cut it into pieces, about like that size. You can trim off the excess fat if you want to; I always leave it on for an extra bit of flavor. And then what you do is you take a mallet like this, and we are going to just go ahead and we are going to just pound this pork down, about like this. All right, just go ahead and put it on a sheet pan. All right and then what we are going to do is we are going to just hit this with some olive oil. I don’t measure the olive oil, just go ahead and throw some on there. You can come in here with your fingers and move it around. And we are going to take some salt, hit it with some salt, again I don’t measure this stuff, I just lightly throw some on there. Some pepper, ground pepper, and some garlic powder. And then what I normally do since there is a lot of oil and stuff on the bottom I is I will just go like this and kind of mix it around a little bit, just so it gets both sides. All right now the meat is prepped and ready to go on the grill. And now we need to make the honey molasses mustard glaze. All right now for the glaze we are going to start with a quarter cup of molasses, and then we want a half of a cup of Dijon mustard, it is about, about like that much, and then about a tablespoon to two tablespoons of honey, this doesn’t have to be exact this recipe, then I am going to hit it with some salt, and give it a good stir, oh yeah. And there we go, let’s go out to the grill. All right so what I did, is I just took the pork medallions; I just put them down on the grill here, and I am going to go ahead and let them cook for oh about 3 to 4 minutes, and then what we are going to do is we are going to take our little honey molasses mix, and just go ahead and baste these, really well, awesome. All right and then we are going to let these cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. We will flip them over and then we will baste the other side, and cook that side. And these are pretty thin, so they cook pretty quickly, let’s go ahead and turn these over. And we will go ahead and get hit this side with this. Dude this is a nice like brush, hey go away. All right now these ones here on the end are done. This is my niece Elsa; she is here helping me celebrate my birthday. Oh yeah, she is going to go ahead and give it a try on camera, this is so good, oh my goodness, this is so good. Dude, Elsa likes it, thumbs up everybody, make them yourself. All right and that is how you make honey molasses pork, super amazing, pretty easy to do, tastes really good, if I can do it, you can do it. I am Matt Taylor; this has been another episode of In the Kitchen with Matt, thank you for joining me, as always if you have any questions or comments, put them down below and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
