How To make Mocha Swirl Pound Cake
1 pound Butter
3 cups Sugar
6 Eggs
1 cup Double strength coffee
2 teaspoons Vanilla
1 tablespoon Baking powder
4 cups Flour
1 ounce Unsweetened chocolate
Cream together butter and sugar with electric mixer at hi speed, until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Sift together dry ingredients. Mix coffee and vanilla. Add dry mix and coffee to butter, alternately, beginning and ending with dry mix. Mix by hand using spatula or wooden spoon. Do not overbeat. Remove 1/3 of the batter and mix with melted chocolate. Spread remaining 2/3 batter in greased and floured tube pan. Put clumps of chocolate batter on top of other batter and swirl with knife. Bake 1 hour at 350~. Cool 10 minutes - then turn onto plate. Cool completely.

Bake in a 6 cup bundt pan, at 160C or 320F for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted.

Today let's learn to make some super tasty Coffee Cake with a very simple Coffee Glaze. This is very simple to make at home and a perfect recipe for coffee lovers.
►Ingredients
Butter - 3/4 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
All-Purpose Flour - 2 cup
Yogurt - 1 cup
Egg - 2
Vanilla Essence
Baking Powder - 1 tsp
Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp
Coffee - 2 tsp
Water - 2 tsp
- for glaze
Coffee - 2 tsp
Water - 2 tbsp
Caster Sugar - 3/4 cup
►Method
1. Blend butter and sugar till it becomes fluffy.
2. Add 2 eggs and mix well.
3. Add flour and yogurt with Baking powder and soda and salt.
4. Divide batter into two portions and add coffee mix in one and combine.
5. Scoop each color batter and add it to a cake tin.
6. Bake it at 180 degrees Celcius for 30 - 40 minutes.
7. Mix coffee and water and add it to caster sugar and make the sugar glaze.
8. Pour the glaze on to the cooled cake and serve.

다크 코코아파우더와 코코아파우더를 사용해 2색의 초코 층을 만들었더니 색 대비가 확실해 옴브레 느낌이 딱 나더라구요~
저는 케이크를 굽고 실온에서 식힌 뒤 잘 밀봉해 냉장실에서 하루 보관했다가 잘랐는데 묵직한 파운드 느낌이 나는 케이크랍니다~
기본 파운드 케이크지만 층이 3층이라 특이하고 맛도 초코와 바닐라 맛을 느낄 수 있어 좋은 것 같아요~^^

▶틀 사이즈 Mold size : 23cm x 12.5cm x 7cm
▶재료
무염버터 180g
설탕 60g
달걀노른자 4개
우유 60g
바닐라익스트랙 5g
박력분 180g
베이킹파우더 5g
달걀흰자 4개
설탕 80g
코코아파우더 7g
다크 코코아파우더 7g
▶레시피
1. 무염버터를 부드럽게 풀고 설탕을 넣고 충분히 휘핑하고 달걀노른자와 바닐라익스트랙을 넣고 섞는다.
2. 실온 온도의 우유를 넣고 섞고 박력분, 베이킹파우더를 체 쳐 넣고 섞는다.
3. 달걀흰자를 휘핑하다가 큰 거품이 올라오면 설탕을 3번에 나눠 넣고 휘핑해 부드럽게 뿔이 서는 머랭을 만들고 본 반죽에 3번에 나눠 넣고 섞는다.
4. 반죽을 3개로 나누고 1곳에는 코코아파우더를 다른 한 곳에는 다크 코코아파우더를 넣고 섞어 2가지 색의 초코 반죽을 만든다.
5. 틀에 진한 초코 반죽을 넣고 평평히 하고 그 위에 연한 초코 반죽을 넣고 평평히 하고 바닐라 반죽을 붓고 평평히 한 뒤 170도 예열된 오븐에서 45~50분 정도 굽는다.
