A spin on my Grandma's pan fried tofu recipe. I use Miso and Ginger to make a yummy sauce to pan fry with soft tofu. Simple and easy to cook.

▼Niku miso hiyayakko (cold tofu sauce recipe) (1 serving)
[Ingredients]
・Ground meat : 250-300g *Either beef or pork is ok
・Garlic : about 10g
・Ginger : 1 clove of garlic (about 10g)
・Tofu : Some *Either film tofu or silk tofu is ok
[Types of Tofu]
Kinugoshi tofu (Names in Japan)= soft tofu / silken tofu *soft
Momen tofu (Names in Japan)= Firm tofu / Medium firm tofu *Elastic and firm
[Niku miso seasoning]
・Miso : 45g
・Soy sauce : 5g
・Mirin : 30g
・Sake : 30g
・Sugat : 25g
[Condiments / Toppings]
・Green onion : a little

Niku miso is a dish that can be used in many dishes.
In the video, I introduced Sauce to put on cold tofu and Put on rice.

今回は、プロが作る「肉味噌冷奴」の簡単な作り方を紹介します。
▼肉味噌冷奴(レシピ)1人前
[材料]
・ひき肉 : 250-300g *牛肉でも豚肉でも可
・にんにく : ひとかけ(10gほど)
・生姜 : 適量(10gほど)
・豆腐 : 適量 *木綿豆腐でも絹ごし豆腐でもどちらでも可
[肉味噌/調味料]
・味噌 : 45g
・醤油 : 5g
・みりん ; 30g
・料理酒 : 30g
・砂糖 : 25g
[調味料 / 薬味]
・青ネギ : 少々

Tofu Skewers Made With Miso Butter: A Delicious and Healthy Way to Snack
BBQ party anyone? Make this Miso Butter
Tofu Skewers ????, the most flavourful tofu you ever tasted. Smoky, slightly sweet and full of umami.
????: Recipe by:-
SAVE AND TRY ????
TO MAKE:
16 oz extra-firm tofu
1 zucchini
1 red bell pepper
1/2 purple onion
Lime and cilantro for serving
For the marinade
1 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp miso paste
1 tbsp tamari/soy sauce
1 tbsp coconut amino
1 tsp brown sugar
2 tbsp water as needed
- In a saucepan, melt the coconut oil over medium heat, fry the garlic till golden and fragrant.
- Add in the miso paste, press and stir to combine, then add the soy sauce and coconut amino, keep stirring to mix everything.
- Add in the brown sugar, lower the heat to medium- low and continue to stir, bring the sauce to a gentle bubble, thin the sauce as needed with water.
- Continue to cook till desired consistency, the longer you let it cook the thicker the sauce will get, I like the marinade to be thick but still fluid.
- Pat dry the tofu, break into cubes with your hands, don't make them too small or they might slip from the Skewers.
- Pour about 4/5 of the marinade into the tofu, reserve the rest of the sauce for serving, let the tofu marinate for an hour
Meanwhile, prep your veggies by cutting them into suitable sizes for the skewer.
- Thread the tofu and veggies onto skewers, if you're using bamboo skewers, be sure to soak them in water first to prevent burning.
- Air fryer method, transfer all skewers onto the rotisserie rack or arrange in a single layer, air fry at 400°F for 15 - 20 minutes till golden brown.
- Oven method, preheat the oven to 400°F, arrange the skewers onto a lined baking pan, it's best if you could find a pan whose width is just a little shorter than your skewers, so you could rest the two ends of the skewers onto the two opposite edges of the pan without the body of the skewers touching the bottom, to ensure maximum airflow, bake for 30 minutes, check and rotate the skewers throughout as needed
- Serve with the remaining sauce, lime slices, and chopped cilantro, enjoy!

Miso Marinated Tofu | Easy Dinner Ideas
Miso Marinated Tofu
Marinade
1 T ginger, minced
1 t sesame oil
2 T shallots, small diced
2 T sake
4 oz soy sauce
2 T rice wine vinegar
2 T mirin
1.5 T miso paste
1 T agave
(reserve 3 T marinade)
12 oz extra firm tofu
oil for sauté
1 Japanese eggplant, cut in half 1.5-inch pieces
1/2 yellow bell pepper, sliced
1 Fresno chile, sliced
1 T green onion, sliced
1 t chives, finely chopped
1. Put together the marinade.
2. Cut tofu into steak fry size pieces and sauté to caramelize.
3. Put caramelized tofu in an oven proof pan and pour marinade over tofu. Let marinate for 10 minutes to 1 hour.
4. Bake at 430 in oven until cooked, about 15 minutes.
5. Sauté eggplant, when eggplant is almost done, add bell peppers.
6. Add the reserve marinade and cook until al dente.
7. Finish with red chile, green onions and chives.
8. Serve with white rice.
